We’ve been using this as a light, in-between “meal” mainly to support hydration, and it has worked really well for that purpose. It mixes easily with warm water and turns into a broth that our dog willingly drinks, which isn’t always the case with similar products. That alone makes it much more useful when you’re trying to increase fluid intake. What I also like is that it’s turkey-based. We tend to prefer turkey as a protein source when possible, as it can be a good alternative to more common options like chicken or beef for dogs with sensitivities. What I appreciate most is the ingredient list. It’s very simple and easy to understand, without unnecessary fillers. According to the label, there’s no added salt, which was important for us when choosing a product for regular use. Overall, it feels like a thoughtful option if you’re trying to supplement hydration in a controlled and predictable way. I mix the powder into my dog's freeze dried food and then rehydrate. It is very healthy and adds flavor.

I love the ingredients and seems to be of high quality, but my boys don't seem to like it. I love The Honest Kitchen products. I recently switched to their small breed whole food clusters and thought I would add the broth for some moisture, but they didn't seem to care for it for whatever reason. I don't think it's the product I think it's the texture of the dry food with broth. Update: I tried this again after my oldest passed away. My little one loves it! He has no teeth so I "chop" up The Honest Kitchen Whole Food Clusters & mix with the broth. I've now also tried the Beef broth & he loves that one too.

I'm not sure really how Many stars to apply here. Dog didn't like. Tried it on ground turkey regular kibble and alone with water. Other dogs might like though.

Using it to moisten puppy food and for the older dogs medication. All three love it. I love that it has turmeric and is good for joints.

In general, turkey stock/broth is better than anything else taste-wise. Why did you have to ruin it with turmeric? It makes it so bitter that even my dogs don't want to have it...

My dogs and cat love this broth. I water it down for my senior dogs sensitive stomach. So this broth lasts me longer than what the container says. Senior dog is also allergic to chicken so finding non chicken variety of broth is best.

My cat with pancreatitis is doing well with this as a topper with his gastro wet food. With this he eats better and is more hydrated too. I love that it’s human grade ingredients. Thank you.

This is a tiny container. It should not cost $23 CAD. The product itself is ok, but the turkey version has turmeric and parsley in it, neither of which my cats need to be ingesting. This part is my fault. I didn't read the ingredients before ordering, and I assumed that since it was unsalted that it was also unseasoned. This was a good lesson to remind me to always read ingredients before buying food online. I will never buy this again, or anything from this company. I can get far better quality unsalted, human grade bone broth for a very similar price at any health food store.
