This is a wonderful book. The photographs are very clear showing the steps in completing the projects and the directions are very good as well. Furthermore, the projects are things that one would actually want to make. An excellent book!

It's ok. The projects themselves are not 'new.' With these tho, it's all about his fabric. If you use Kaffe's fabric you're sure to get the best results. I mostly look for ideas on to use ugly or unwanted fabric to make beautiful charity quilts. Like, so far, I've collected a big box of stripes, so the idea on the cover caught my eye. Next challenge--fall themed novelty fabrics!...lots of depressing browns that need a shot of HAPPY!

As with all of Kaffe Fassett's book, this one is beautiful. I may never make any of the projects but I am always interested in the way the various fabrics are used together and I also get to see what other colorways are available. I loved the color combinations in this book, so different from his other books. I can't wait to collect all my Kaffe Fassett fabrics in one place and to make some small wall hangings for my own pleasure.

I'm not a fan of Kaffe Fassett as he uses colors together that I don't care for; however, this book features more subdued combinations and the designs are beautiful. I'm happy I made the purchase and the pillows alone are worth the buy.

I actually learned alot about sewing from the instructions in this book. Kaffe designs some of the most beautiful fabrics in the world, but he didn't show off his collection of prints well with these projects. Beautiful colors are what he is known for. Bring back some of the earlier prints that are so beautiful, and continue designing colorful, bright quilting fabrics. I never tire of using the same beautiful prints in new ways.Some of these projects are above my sewing ability.

Absolutely PERFECT book for beginners and people who don't want to invest a lot of time and money into a huge project. I made several projects from the book. All were beautiful. Sometimes the written directions were a little confusing to me, but then again, I'm new to the whole piecing/quilting methods. Lots of variety and great results.

Great little book for all budding patchworkers. Lots of good and simple ideas for beginners.

If your sewing time has diminished, this is a great book for quick and enjoyable stitching. Plenty of projects and,of course, plenty of colours.

Hoped it would have more than basic ideas, so good for a beginner.

Lovely bright book. Great projects, well explained with Kaffe's trademark gorgeous photograps. It does what it says on the tin!

As always so e lovely projects. Bit of a problem with trying to increase size of pattern for tea cosy, don't think it's correct but one could resolve this by eye!
