Excellent Quality at a bargain price!
I've just made myself up some speaker cables with banana plugs at one end and spade connections at the other.These connections are extremely well made and definitely look fantastic!The design is easy to use, and the cable is secured by a double opposing screw arrangement that will ensure the cable never comes loose. These knock spots over any other make of banana plug I have used in every way!I've wired up my sepakers and have to say they sound fantastic!Highly recommended indeed!

they look nice
I was putting together a separates stereo system a mix of vintage kit and new amplifier and cd player. I bought 2 sets of these after looking at pictures of my new Yamaha A-S301 amplifier on Amazon to connect my 4 speakers up to it once it arrived, I now have 8 great looking connectors sitting around doing nothing as it turns out they cannot be used with my New amp, you have to connect to this model via stripping the wire insulation off for 10mm and then inserting the wire into the speaker connection posts, so I cannot review these 'Y' connectors other than to say they look great

Beautifully made but 2 major design issues
Without a doubt these are beautifully made and look great. There are however 2 major problems. The outer cover is metal and conducting. So if they touch they could short the output of a very expensive amplifier. The second issue is that no mention was made of the thickness of the spade ends. These are cast brass? or plated and just not going to fit under the outputs of my Krell power amps. They would have fitted round the posts but it's just not a thing you are going to force with very expensive kit. Sadly these well made but poorly designed items had to be returned.

Y Plug Spades
I would fit a lot of Spade and Banana plugs for various jobs.Have purchased Vimmor Y Plugs several times on Amazon.I get these only if I am stuck,can have them the next day.Would normally use Van Den Hul orTellurium Q.When fitting the Vimmor Y Plugs would suggest using Slodering KIt on heavier gauge wiring..The Grub nuts will ring when you try to tighten them flush..I would also suggest people to Super Glue the Threads on the Spades.They will open and cause a Short if you Don't,,,Gerry Bolger.
