Lovely sound several pitches .. fits hand well .. good size for being mobile .

This suited my purposes well. Well made and robust and well priced. I was looking for a tambour which was suitable for use with an adult group, so not highly coloured, like a child's instrument, and this was the one that met those requirements.

This hand drum ( or tambour) was exactly what I hoped for. It is stong, with a good tight "skin". Absolutely perfect

I bought six of the 8 inch hand drums and seven of the 10 inch hand drums for use in pre-school music classes. They have been used much less than once a week. Several of them are completely split and the majority are badly damaged. The suppliers' response, via Norman's Musical Instruments was that 'due to them being used in a school regularly they won't last a lifetime anyway'. In fact I think they have been used far less in my classes than they would have been if I'd bought them for home use. I would advise you to avoid this product if you are considering buying it. Go for Remo or Percussion Plus if you want something that lasts more than a few months.

the rivets are rusty and the canvas is stained not as i would expect from a new product

Ebenfalls beim ersten Einsatz gerissen. Mein 4 Jähriger Sohn hat normal getrommelt mit extra gekauften Filzkopfschlegel, nach 10 Sekunden ist das billige Papierfell gerissen. Schrott Schrott Schrott - kann nur vom Kauf abraten...

Beim ersten Einsatz gerissen. Leider nur noch als Glücksbringer oder Erinnerungsstück zu gebrauchen. Nun an die Wand gehängt. Einsatzziel verpasst.
