Great for handicapped aide for tub
We purchased two of these. I got one for my elderly mom and then decided to get one for our tub for when she stays here. It’s great with no drilling or adhesive you put it over edge of tub and tighten it on. It’s very sturdy and good quality. ,

Safe, convenient, sturdy grab bar
I’ve purchased this for my best friend to get in & out of his bathtub safe & easy. The picture is a little off, it looks like the handlebar is small, which it’s not. Just an optical illusion due to taking the picture from above & not at the same height. My friend is ecstatic about this easy to mount, sturdy, movable without damage to tub safety bar. He even sent a picture to his sister, encouraging her to get one too.The grip is sturdy and safely mounted on the tub. It came well made & packaged. An excellent buy at a “steal”.If you’re getting on in age, have a disability or one of your loved ones does, get one for their safety & your peace of mind. They may not need it right now but it will be there as a precaution. It is easy to move to the position needed no matter how often with the strong screw keeping the grab bar on the tub without causing any damage.I highly recommend this product!

A Lifesaver for getting in and out of the tub!
Got this to help when I get in and out of the tub. I have arthritis in my knees and have trouble with steps so I need something to grab onto when getting in and out of the tub. We combined this grab bar with a step that makes it easier to get over the tub edge. Now I can shower without fear! It attaches to the side of the tub easily and is very sturdy when it's tightened

Great handle for the elderly that have problem getting in/out of shower tub
bought this handle for my mother since she is at the age that it is harder for her to get in and out of the shower tub. Installation was easy and the handle seems to strong enough to support her. Highly recommend this tool specially for elderly folks.

Probably the best...
First of all, when I say "probably the best," I mean in terms of material quality; this safety rail is so heavy and easy to grip that it could be used as a weapon of self-defense! But seriously, you probably will never need to replace it. I bought it in March and just now got a chance to install it. For those who are consternated over the slippage on the inside of the tub wall, this is not a defect in design by this manufacturer. This is a result of the 'artsy' tub designers who couldn't be happy with a simple flat vertical inside tub wall; no, like my tub, a lot besides mine must have a 'sloping' angle to the inside, making it impossible for a flat-surface clamp face to be tightened so that it doesn't slip (probably not enough in most cases for the rail to completely come off). But I am attaching the photos to show the simple solution, creating a vertical incline to the tub wall, which made my clamp secure. What you see in the photos is the familiar and simple shelving material available most everywhere. Just cut a strip or two to fill the space at the top portion to the inner clamp face. Believe it will work for you, as it did for me. Now, the only genuine complaint that I have about this product is rather inane but annoying; the manufacturer stuck a wide advertising label on the crossbar of the grip, and the adhesive required several applications of Goo-Gone to remove and clean the grip; why on earth would anyone do this to their customers? Nevertheless, I recommend this product for its purpose and functionality.

Great for those following surgery, or having balance issues
This was a great solution to help my wife get into and out of a tub following spinal surgery. You above to periodically re-tighten this, and emphasize to user apply pressure vertically from directly above. Side application may cause bracket to slip, and user to fall.

you might need 3/4" foam block on opposite side of the tightening clamp to make secure.
The edge of our soaking bath tub is 3" when we clamped this unit on the edge it was not a solid grip until I came across a small piece of styrofoam 3/4" thick which we installed on opposite side of the crank. This fix made this unit just perfect and secure. At first we installed the handle bar on the wall side of the tub on the left side just to hide it out of view. where it just was not helpful in getting out of the tub safely. I am right handed so what was I thinking ?? putting this thing out of site and out of mind. I kept taking showers and not enjoying my lovely tub. I came down with a lousy summer cold and switched this tool to the right side of the tub being desperate to soak heal and relax in a tub of lovely healing epsom salt bath. This handle bar is a heaven sent. I can not believe I missed out on my soaking for over a year because I could not safely get out of the tub. For me this was definitely a matter of " age before beauty." Maybe more like mind over matter. I just had something against having this handle bar sticking up out of this lovely tub in my perfect looking bath room. I feel pretty dumb about my perception.I think it would be beyond perfect if this handle bar was a little bit low key. I understand some people needthis bar to be tall, But maybe this company could make a low and a high version of this product. If you are looking for a safe exit from a slip and slide tub situation, I highly recommend this product. You need to find your comfort zone by how to best use this wonderful poduct. Thank you.
