How long is the cord?

The cord on the unit is about 12 inches long. This way you can add any length of extension cord to meet your needs. I added a 50' cord and I can reach any in my house.

Does this come with extension cord

Hello – this is Alyssa, I work as a Customer Specialist for Atrix. The VACBP1 does not come with an extension cord. Atrix manufactures the Atrix backpack cord (pigtail) a certain length for two reasons: 1) users of this product range from professional cleaners to homeowners, and by manufacturing the cord as a pigtail it allows the operator to choose which size extension cord best suits their application; and 2) if the extension cord is damaged, it then offers the operator a quick fix - simply by replacing the extension cord, not the entire vacuum. Kind regards, Atrix Customer Support

Less than ten lbs without getting it on a scale. If you need more precise weight I'll get on a scale with it.
