Press your pants at home and save $$$!
I love this pant press. I had a older version for years and ordered a new one when it stopped working. I used to take my pants to the cleaners and this product has saved me a ton of money and time. It's great for the environment too without all the metal hangers and plastic wrap from the cleaners too. I really miss it when I go on vacation!

Works great!
We’ve used this pant presser for over 30 years only replacing after a mishap of ours. Can’t do without it!

Broke during assembly
While attaching the feet, the first foot snapped into place easily but the second foot cracked while attaching it. It’s quite unusable without the feet.

I Love This Thing!
Used one for the first time in a hotel in London—exact same model, wall mounted. Very impressed with ease of use. As the before and after photos show, it didn’t eliminate all the wrinkles however there is great improvement in addition to renewing the front crease on trousers. The results depend on the fabric involved. I suspect wool and polyester blends will do better than linen. Easier than ironing and provides a convenient place to safely hang the jacket.

New Zealand voltage is 240 volts not American 110 volts
New Zealand electricity voltage is 240 volts. The trouser press I was sent is American 110 volts. This required a voltage transformer to reduce from 240 volts to 110 volts which was an extra expense of $NZ110.00

but after something like 7 to 10 years each
This is my third Corby of Winsdor pants press over more than 20 years. Ac couple of observations:The backing behind the foam pad warps over time. This was the reason I replaced my last two presses, but after something like 7 to 10 years each. I take that as the normal wearing out.My most recent press, which arrived in January, is definitely not of the same quality construction. The box was a wreck from shipping. It's poor quality cardboard and contained little packing insulation. The rivets that attach the control panel top to the body are made of poor quality plastic. One rivet broke in transit, and the other in lifting the press out of the box. Frankly, I replaced the rivets with screws because it was an easy fix and I didn't want to deal with returning the press for another one. I understand that manufacturers keep costs down by substituting cheaper components, but I think Corby may have gone too far. I hope the heating element/backing pad hasn't been replaced with a poor quality materials. Time will tell.
