SYMBIOTE SPIDER-MAN

Simple story. No huge implications. Sits great with old continuity. Peter David scribes a great book with an old school 80’s-ish feel and Greg Land knocks it out of the park in the art department. Not must have, but I’m quite happy with this in my library. Looking forward to volume two.

Art in this book was visually such a treat.It's the only reason I will most likely hold on to this book.The story had some good moments such as Mysterio feeling guilt for the death of an innocent person but that's overshadowed by the rest of the stuff that happens in it. There is no sense of stake or anything that makes you feel like the character is in immediate danger and the fights are dull. It's cool to see Mysterio be matched up with the symbiote but the rest of the story just feels like ideas they threw at the wall with no real decisive conclusion on what type of story they wanted to have.Skip this one unless you're a fan of art in comics because you're not missing much.This isn't a book you really NEED in your collection.

The art style alone is enough to own this book, and the story is very interesting also. I love where they're going with this.If you loved the 90's cartoon, then you'll love this story.

Peter David takes us back to a great time in Spider history and he does it so well. This story could have seamlessly fit in the original run and its to David's credit. Felicia and Peter's relationship was one of the most interesting Peter has ever had. Its great to revisit it. Greg Land's art is the normal beautiful/odd/terrible mix he always has. Overall, this book is great for old school Spider-Man fans.

With story by Peter David and art by Greg Land, this had to be worth seeing. It does not disappoint. A fast-paced yarn with action and humor.

I've just read chapter 1 of this Spiderman story. Very good, so far! However, I'm not sure if this graphic novel, is a continuation from a previous book? Good quality, in e book format. Also, (as I'm visually impaired), I really like the kindle feature, to zoom in (for GNs especially) - which makes being able to read and see, much easier! Great! Thanks.

Wow! I loved it. Venom is my favourite marvel hero. But this is very good. If u love venom. U will love it. If u love spidey u will love it. I must admit I had my doubts about this. But glad I purchased it. Must by for ur collection.

Books arrived late and damaged. Reported it to customer service and they helped clear the issue up. Still looking forward to reading the books though. Peter David is a great writer.

A decent Spidey graphic novel with nice art and story. I’m sure many Spider-Man fans would be happy to have this in their collection! (5/5)
