I used this product along with the Rola-Chem BS-1-24 Ultra Strip Swimming Pool Covers Repair PatchI have a Loop Loc solid pool cover that developed a 24" rip and pulled stitching in one of straps. Since the Ultra-Loc patches are expensive so I decided to use this product with another as reinforcement and added security of the straps. I did apply it the patches to both the top and under sides of the damaged area. Worked like a charm. The adhesive is strong, and the material matches my cover.It's been in place for 3 weeks to this point and under tension since covering the pool 2 weeks ago. So far, so good, hence the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 until we see it prove worthiness over time and through a winter.It was easy to apply. I recommend having a flat clean surface to work on and using a hard heavy roller to work out any air pockets and getting the adhesive to bite into the surface.Overall I pleased with the results (so far) and it should extend my $2000 pool cover at least another year, hopefully longer!

The patches were stiffer than the previous ones I had used, and the adhesive was not quite as sticky.

We have some big dogs that decided to pick at a small tare in our pool cover. If finally used the patches to cover a hole that was about 6" around. Make a long story short I need a bigger patch. The dogs decided that did not like the patches and removed them the next day. Not a patch problem a dog problem. Over all I think the product works well but not if you have dogs that don't like to see changes in your pool cover.

Does the job but very expensive considering the quantity and size. It seems there are no bargains with this product.

Our pool cover developed a small tear in it, approximately 4 inches long, after it was installed. A limb fell out of a tall oak tree and punctured the pool cover. The pool cover is being replaced, due to it's age and wear. However, the Loop Loc Ultra Solid Patch Kit did a great job in fixing the tear. Fortunately, there haven't been any other tears in the cover. I bought it so that we could get through this season with this cover. The patch has held up during this Winter, in which we have had cold temperatures, rain and snow. Again, when we remove the cover this Spring, we will dispose of the cover, but this kit did it's job.

Doesn't stick to the pool cover very well.... won't last the winter I doubt, since it's only been a month and edges are pulling up everywhere.

I used the Loop Loc Patch Kit this fall before installing my cover in early October 2014. So far the patches have held well. I had several small holes in my cover so I cut several small patches. I didn't think they would all hold but after almost 4 months they held fine. I think this product is over priced for what you get but I think I can get another year out of my cover so maybe it's a small price to pay. Don't let the price stop you from making the purchase.
