WARN 89775 ZEON Winch Solid Rope Cover

We have a Warn 87750 bumper installed on our 2013 Rubicon. The Zeon winch sits down into the bumper. Because of this the cover is very difficult to install and I simply can't snap it in at the bottom. If our winch was up on top of the bumper I'm sure the fit would be great!I think it's a good purchase that will help protect the rope from the UV rays of the sun.

This winch cover would be well worth the money, it protects the rope, and finishes off the front of the winch, the problem is, it doesn't fit with winch rope installed. The Warn ZEON 8.S comes with 100' feet of winch rope, when installed it spool is too large for the winch cover to go over it. Great idea, bad design

This little piece of plastic should have come with my $1,200 winch from Warn. The fitment was tough because my winch is mounted halfway into my bumper. But it does it’s job protecting the synthetic rope from UV rays.

I installed this on my '10 Tundra which has the Expedition-One winch bumper. I chose this one over the slotted version as my primary goal was to keep the sun's UV rays off my $$$ synthetic rope. The cover required a good amount of pressure to snap in place (used a piece of wood for leverage against my bumper to press it in on the corners), it's definitely secure, normal and offroad driving is not going to "bump" it out of place. That said, there's not a lot of space between the cover and the winch rope, after preloading my winch line per instructions (yes, read your instruction manuals guys, esp with the dangers involved in winching), it fit on. I can see scenarios in which the cover gets popped off by the rope if it's not perfectly spooled.

So, this thing was a pain to get installed and snapped into place. It kept bending and wouldn't bend back to its proper shape. Then, after all that, it isn't usable if you have a synthetic line installed. I have a 10-S. The rope is just too big, there isn't room for it. I may have missed that in the description, I don't know. If so, that's my fault.

Great UV protection for synthetic line. It is a bit tight to get it snapped in. For me it worked best to snap in the top first and then the bottom almost snapped itself in. I will probably pull it off when using the winch to make sure the line is spooling correctly, but it's awesome when the winch is not in use.

So poorly made and has low Quality Control. Not living up to the Warn name. Multipe reviews of it being to big or to small. They are junk. Stay away. I have tried this plate on 3 Warn Zeon 10-S winches and it fits none of them without a ton of effort and when you do "make" it fit, it's bulged in the middle. It looks terrible and is hard to remove if you do need to use the winch. It's meant to protect the synthetic rope from UV rays but instead pf making something user friendly that can be installed and removed with ease they are overcharging for a poorly made piece of plastic.

Extremely misleading...I expected so much more than just the ONE Piece that just covers the winch.Looking at the picture, I expected the complete plack cover + hook with tag.Got to be careful while ordering items...ThanksMark
