Nice sturdy scooped! Use for pellets for pizza oven and scoop is large. Definitely larger than expected but wound up loving it !

I got some ice melt- and had no way to spread it. I opened the container and they were small pellets. I tried spreading it by hand and lost more than where I wanted to apply it.After searching I found this size would suit me best. Not only for the reasonable price but for its capacity and design.It is shaped to easily scoop and spread without wasting too much per scoop. It is aluminum so I won’t have to worry breaking it while using it but also I don’t have to worry about it reacting with ice melt formulations, and for cleaning I can pour it with water ( or dunk it) and not worry about corrosion- at least not immediately.I recommend buying this.

So this does feel a bit light weight compared to other scoops I used, but that actually makes it perfect for what we bought it for. My wife needed a scoop that was large enough to scoop mulch and topsoil for her garden, but light weight enough for her to use it. The size is perfect for her hands, and the construction is sturdy enough for what she needs.For those that are complaining about it turning black, here is a Pro Tip for you - Bare aluminum is not dishwasher safe. It will oxidize and turn black. Nothing wrong with the scoop, just in how you cleaned it. While aluminum that is anodized or coated might be safe to put in the dishwasher (check the manufacturers instructions), bare aluminum like this is not.Hand wash only

I bought this to scoop homemade dog food, and it’s been great. Sturdy, washes easily, handle is comfortable. It’s larger than I expected but it’s been a good purchase.

We use this scoop to scoop fresh litter out of the container we store fresh litter in and it serves its purpose well. It’s a very large scoop and is much heavier duty than the plastic one we used to use that ended up breaking.
