This stuff is more viscous than clp and works well.

Bore Tech makes some of the best firearm cleaning products on the market. Their Friction Guard XP Gun Oil is certainly worthy of the Bore Tech name. As a precision shooter, I have used this product in all of my match rifles and shotguns and have never had any issues with this synthetic gun oil. It works great on all barrel bores and sliding parts when used as directed and a little goes a long way in reducing friction wear on all moving surfaces. There is absolutely no gummy residue to deal with during continued usage or with prolonged firearm storage, and it is unaffected by heat. And of course it is also a great corrosion inhibitor.

I will buy anything this brand produces because it all simply works well!

This lubricant works great in my firearms to reduce friction. Its really slick stuff!

This is a very good product, maybe overpriced. But be advised, the plastic bottle in which it comes is HORRIBLE! It WILL leak no matter what you do! KEEP IT UPRIGHT in your gun cleaning suppl kit or you will lose it and have a big mess.

Amazing stuff works wonders, especially when you heat up the part so it's a little bit easier for whatever the lubricating agent is to bind itself in the pores of the metal. Once the part is cooled off, wipe off the excess and you have a slick bolt or bolt carrier group. I occasionally use it for the actual barrel, but mostly on my bold action bolts. I used a product that that had almost the same effect back in the day called frog lube. But problem with that is the frog lube goes bad and this doesn't.
