Q: How long is the siphon tubing. Is is a common size, could it be replaced with a longer tub?

The tube is a flexible hose and measures 34.5" long, it is a quarter inch thick on the inside and could be replaced easily with a longer one. It is weighted at the end so this can be swapped out into a new tube, same as the other end that fixes to the unit. Hope this helps.

Hi, to get back to you, the injector does not have an anti siphon mechanism. In order to prevent back contamination, we recommend removing the siphon from your liquid at the same time or before you finish injecting. This will leave any potential contaminant remaining in the tube and ready for washing. Hopefully this is helpful to you.

Q: Will this inject luquids with high viscosity? Like hot pepper sauces.

No this injector is not designed for high viscosity liquids. It will get clogged. You would need to find a different injector to use for thick sauces. All marinades should be strained before using this model and it is more suited to liquid brines etc
