Before I start my review I have to say my hair is dyed blonde, I'm a natural dark brunette with red/orange undertones and everyone hair is going to react differently.This is the professional opinion from my hairdresser who I did ask permission to use her qoute."The violet/silver products for blondes are designed to remove gold or yellow tines from the hair. If you have non this is the result"I have included photo's of before and after so you get the full picture.On the tub it clearly states for professional use only, it also says wear gloves but I thought what's the worse can happen it's only a hair mask.I left the product on for 25 minutes, recomended is between 20 -30 minutes.You can't see much from the photo of my hands but this does stain your hands and even after 3 washes I was still left with a slight purple tinge around my nails so wear gloves.There is no aroma at all unlike other hair masks/shampoo's, leaves your hair incredibly soft and manageable which is fantastic as my hair is often fly away and frizzy so i am very happy.I love the colour this produced and the photo's are after 1 wash, I couldn't have planned this any better so happy as are friends who have complimented me.Everyone's hair will react diferently and as above please read the opinion of my hairdresser, so happy with this product I will defiently be buying again but this wont be for a while as the pot is very large and excellent value for money

The content is dried and unusable

massive tub of mask smells nice and feels easy to apply, not tried this on hair yet as i am still waiting on a volunteer but looking at the amount in the tub it seems worth the money

At first I thought this was similar to my Provoke purple shampoo which I use on a weekly basis to brighten my highlighted hair.But on looking at the reviews and YouTube videos I’ve realised it’s vastly different.It’s more like the semi permanent colour dyes that are popular at the moment, I’ve tried a couple in blue and pink, just on the ends of my hair, they take ok because my hairs bleached.I approached this with trepidation as I don’t want all over deep purple hair, it just wouldn’t suit me so I applied it to the ends, ombré style and as I want a more pastel colour I only left it on for about 5 minutes.I used gloves as I wasn’t keen on dying my nails as well. The mask is quite thick and luckily doesn’t drip when your hanging around waiting for it to work.After washing off it had adhered more to the dyed parts of my hair, turning it a nice shade of lilac and hadn’t really changed the parts of my hair that are mid brown.It’s definitely better value for money than the other semi permanent dyes available and can be left on longer for a bigger impact, I might try this when I’ve got a week off work just in case it’s a complete disaster!You get a lot for your money and the tub will give you the ability to keep colouring your hair for many weeks.Give it a try but make sure you’re aware of how quickly it works.Hope you found my review helpful

Okay so I ordered this for my partner who is a professional hairdresser and this is what she has to say about the product:GK is a professional hairdressing brand which has high quality products that I am familiar with although I hadn’t used this particular product in the past.So my first thoughts were that this really shouldn’t be in the hands of someone who isn’t trained. It’s has toning pigments in the masque and can have terrible effects on the hair if not used correctly. Ladies and gents please make sure you consult a professional before using and make sure you follow the instructions properly. If this is applied onto damaged blonde hair it can possibly stain the hair permanently and may I add extremely unevenly leaving you with a hefty colour correction bill to pay.But going past that, I really have high regards for this product. I used it on myself during a colour change going from red to a light brown, it moisturised my tired bleached hair whilst toning out some of the unwanted red undertones that had been lifted out. The masque is of a lovely consistency and left my hair feeling lovely. Used properly this product is brilliant!

First of all, this is deep purple. It is nowhere close to being lavender color.So if you are searching for a pastel tone, think about diluting it with your shampoo or conditioner in equal parts.It's either you get a dark purple head if you use it pure, and you stain your sink or bathtub as it happened to me, or you will be barely able to see it as you can see from my photos.It is a very big size for a hair mask, so good point there.I tried to watch the official tutorials on youtube about this mask but I got confused. One was showing the model turning with deep purple hair, and the other one having pastel tones.It doesn't explain where is the trick.I tried the one I have been using since forever to obtain a pastel tone but the color attached only to a few parts of my hair.I will try to investigate more and will try other options.

This definitely works. I have different colours in my hair and tried this just on the front bits to see what it would come out. The colour works really well and my hair did feel nice after. I would suggest using gloves when applying to stop staining your hands and nails. It didn’t stain the bath/shower which was nice aswell as that’s always a downside to dying your own hair at home.
