I had to 1/2 size up. They do run wide. *by K***D on Reviewed in the United States on April 9, 2019* I purchased these bowling shoes because of a review here that mentioned they were too wide for the lady. I was like sounds like a shoe that will fit me. I ordered the 8 originally. The shoe was wide enough but too short. Went up a 1/2 size to 8 1/2 and they are PERFECT. Wish I could wear them for more than just bowling they fit so well. If you have usually wear a wide shoe this bowling shoe is right for you. Just 1/2 size up and it will fit. Very happy and they look super cute bowling at the ally with my husband. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good looking shoes *by P***F on Reviewed in the United States on February 27, 2020* I'm not an experienced bowler, by any means. I think these fit well, and anything is better than wearing the gross rental shoes. The first time I wore them to the bowling alley, the bowler on the next lane told me these were some 'sick' shoes. I think that's supposed to be a compliment. I certainly think they're better looking than anything I've seen on the lanes. ### ⭐⭐ Impossible to bowl in these! *by K***L on Reviewed in the United States on June 17, 2021* I put these shoes on at the bowling alley. Took one step forward and my foot slid out from under me like I'm on ice. I immediately sat back down. Took a wire brush to the bottom trying to scuff it up and make them usable. Upon my next try, I stumbled to the lane trying not to slip while simultaneously not fall due to the extreme stopping power of the heels. It was like the rubber breaks on roller skates. I'm shocked I didn't break my neck. The wire brush came out again to do more scuffing. I bowled a whopping 82 pins trying to figure out how to walk in those shoes. By game three the wire brush had done its job making them less slippery and I learned how to walk without using the "brakes" on the heels. At this point, I'm keeping them because I've made them usable. But I don't recommend. It was ridiculous that I couldn't just put them on and bowl.
