Very solid product. Gives me great confidence that my monitor arm will stay completely secure to my table edge even if great pressure is put on it. Easy to put into place as I was installing my monitor arm. My table has a 2-inch lip and the small plate fit very well just under the table edge.

I bought this because I was not thinking about a monitor mount when I built my desk. It was a desk made of particle board so not ideal for multi-monitor setups so I stumbled across this and 2 years later this product has been a godsend. There is no issues with my desk and its holding 2 27' monitors via my mount. This was a very cheap and effective alternative to what other options I had based on my desk.
