iFixit Anti-Static Wrist Strap (Adjustable up to Size XL)

I picked this up for a DIY PC upgrade and it did exactly what it’s supposed to. It’s comfortable enough to wear while working, and it’s a huge relief not having to worry about zapping any sensitive components with static electricity. The strap is easy to adjust, and it stays securely in place. Definitely worth the small investment to protect your gear. Highly recommend!

I picked this up for a PC upgrade and it did exactly what it's supposed to. It's incredibly comfortable to wear for long periods, which is a huge bonus compared to the flimsy, tight, one-size-fits-all straps out there. Knowing that the iFixit Anti-Static Wrist Strap adjusts comfortably up to an XL size is a game changer for larger wrists.The 6-foot coiled cord gave me plenty of freedom to move around my workspace without worrying about it tugging or disconnecting. It clipped securely to my PC chassis, and it was a massive relief knowing I wasn't going to accidentally zap any of my sensitive components with static electricity. It's inexpensive insurance for expensive hardware. Highly recommend!

High quality product, however the end of the banana plug has come out when there is circumferential pressure on the part of the clip that holds onto it. Would fit wrists easily, but also fits on moderate size ankles which is useful when you're slightly further away from somewhere where you can easily ground yourself.

Bought this for repairing a computer and it did exactly what was needed. It’s comfortable enough to wear and worked well for the job. I already use quite a few iFixit products, so I was happy to go with this brand again. It feels well made and does the job without any unnecessary fuss. I haven’t had any issues with it so far and would buy it again if I needed another one.

Simple but does the job. Comfortable to wear and ideal when working on PC components.

Used these while fixing my PC amd the length of the wire and the fit of the stap were good. The build quality was better than previous ones I used and it was very easy to use. I would have no qualms about ordering these again should I lose them (what happened to my last(worse) straps) and I plan to keep using them as to safely tinker with electrical items.

The bright blue colour makes it much easier to find amongst box of cables.

Some people say you don't "need" it. That may be true but I also don't think it's such a bad idea to be safe rather than sorry especially for such a low cost. I am an avg user who likes to do his own work when needed. I wasn't about to go out and spend $70+ on an anti static mat when I'd likely only need to pull it out once every cpl of years or so. I also know I'm the type of person who gets so caught up into what I'm focusing on that I'd forget to ground myself every so often. For the minimal cost of this thing it was an easy purchase just for the piece of mind. I'm a pretty avg size guy with rather think legs from sports and this was still able to fit my ankle quite comfortably. The cable is long enough to attach to a ground location and still offer plenty of room to move. I can't comment on the durability of it because I've only just got it and only used it in action once. For $10 and how little I plan to actually use it though I can't imagine this will wear out anytime soon. I think it's worth it.

I already built a couple pc's with this wrist band and it is very flexible. it will also not be in your way when you are screwing in pc components

I've found a perfect solution for my treadmill static problem with the iFixit Anti-Static Wrist Strap. While designed for electronics repair, I've repurposed it for my needs. I attached the adjustable elastic band to my treadmill's metal frame and I attach the metal clip to my shorts while using the treadmill. It works great! Before this fix, static electricity made touching my treadmill a shocking experience. Now, the problem is almost completely eliminated! The 6-foot coiled cord gives me plenty of freedom while running. It seems well constructed so I'm hoping this lasts a long time. And even if it doesn't, it's an affordable strap. For anyone facing static issues with exercise equipment, this affordable strap is an unexpected but effective solution. It's such a simple fix that's made my workouts much more enjoyable. Highly recommended for this unconventional but practical use!
