Osteopathy and the Treatment of Horses

Five stars is not nearly enough for this beautiful contribution to equine bodywork. While the book is not for beginners, neither should hands-on practitioners shy away from the book simply because they are not osteopathic veterinary surgeons. The massage therapist familiar with positional release and cranial-sacral techniques, willing to learn a bit of equine anatomy, and experienced with horses will find the book fabulously enlightening. There is simply not enough I can say about the gift this book is.

Written for someone with a moderate to advanced knowledge of equine anatomy and the principles of physiology, this text explains the current equine osteopathic theories and practical application.

Very informative and a great reference book

This book is great for any equine musculoskeletal therapist. The pictures and explanations are great, and lots of food for thought. There are of-course techniques in this book that I would prefer to be shown on a horse, under tutor guidance. However, there are other techniques which provide extra tips on moves I am already using. It is also a useful book for my students to refer to.

I was very impressed with the condition of this book, it literally looked brand new. Thank you for quality goods.

Great information-well made

Fantastic book, a little more medical then the average horse owner will understand, more suited to a horse chiro/massage therapy professional, but f you can take your time and study it there is some great information.
