This is the third one I’ve purchased. This mask is so comfortable! I love to use it cold. It really helps with sinus problems! It has no scent, another plus for me! Great to use as a cold compress for eyes and nose. Total black out design and no pressure on your eyes. I wish it had an adjustable strap, but it fits good.

I had three of these originally, purchased at a local Pharmacy, but could not find them any more - then my daughter who also suffers from migraines found them on line. I bought 4 more for a total of 7. I love these - they are the best. The are heavily cushioned and soft, yet they hold firmly to your head and eyes to allow for the slight pressure needed to feel the coolness of the ice beads. The quilting effect allows the pressure to enter the eye socket and not just be around the head or edges. In addition these are ICE COLD but NOTFROZEN BURN. I have tries others (like the blue one that does not have a strap) and that one transfers NO COLDNESS. Then I tried the Blue or Clear Gel type, and they are rock solid ICE COLD to a burn - to uncomfortable to wear tight to the head. These are JSUT RIGHT - real cold but not in a painful way. I put it on, and maybe after 15 minutes I flip it over (upside downish) and get another r10 minutes form it. Works every time. I now have a toal of seven because my daughter constantly forgets to put them back in the freezer, and I like ot have a ready one handy at anytime. NO HEADACHE -- No Problem - a great Room Darkener too - light weight - cumfy - and cool.

Got this yesterday and threw it in the freezer (in a zip lock as suggested, and I agree with them and highly recommend!) for a couple hours. Pulled it out and laid down with it on for a bit. It arrived at the right time, I am fighting a fever off and on and last night I was miserable. When chilled this perfectly fits and cools your forehead as well as your temples and top of the cheeks all while not smooshing your eyes. You can rest this over your eyes and it sits loosely, but I prefer it with the band around my head. With the band securely around your noggin you get a slight pressure that is oddly pleasing. The band is not tight and you really don't even notice it. As I relaxed and my fever started to disappear I got in to sleepy mode and rolled to my side, I was pleased to discover the mask stayed in place. When on there is a bit of light that sneaks up around my nose, but that could just be the way it fits me and will not be true for everyone. Since there is something on my face to encourage my eyes to be closed it isn't that big of a deal. I actually don't mind it because if I were to fall asleep and wake up with it still on I'd get a bit of light and it would remind my sleepy brain it is on, and not cause a moment of panic that I can't see. I plan on getting my mom and sister each one for their birthday's I like mine so much! **UPDATE** I ended up ordering two more sooner than I had expected (mom and sister), they both received them and tried them out and they are also fans. I got sick after I got this and it is AMAZING if you have a fever. Stick it in the freezer (in a plastic baggy) for an hour and it is enough to provide needed relief. The strap holds it perfectly so that it sits right where you would want a cool rag to. I am 100% happy with this item!

I"ve used numerous eye masks over the years, mainly the gel ones that you freeze and the cheap fabric ones that you use to block out light, but I have admittedly never tried a product quite like this one before. It has a very soft black fabric filled with beads and an unadjustable elastic strap. Pros: -The fabric is very soft and comfortable -It provides a nice weight across my sinuses, not too heavy, but enough pressure to be comforting -Frozen it stays cool for approximately 15 minutes on average -The coolness helped relieve my sinus pain as well as nasal congestion -the mask itself seems to be of quality construction -It has stitching over the eyes so there is space between your eyeballs and the mask -Frozen it is quite cool, but not a burning cold like an ice pack Cons: -The strap is not adjustable. It fit almost perfectly when the strap was exactly on the biggest part of my head (I am a petite woman), but if the strap moved at all the mask wouldn't stay put, and if the elastic stretched out at all it would become a problem. I'm not sure how they could have made it adjustable without it getting tangled in people's hair, but it seems like it needs something. -The fabric is very soft, which is nice, but it's the type that will snag on a sharp fingernail. -The bag was cheaply made. It comes in a bag that's designed to freeze the mask in. It closes with something like the sliders on certain brands of ziplock baggies. Anyway, the second time I opened it the plastic just split leaving a huge hole and making the bag completely unusable. That said, it squishes just fine to fit into a sandwich bag. -It will attract smells. If you just put it into your freezer without a bag it will smell like your freezer, which can be unpleasant especially since it sits on your nose :-) Neutrals (for me) -Because it is filled with beads it is a little on the heavy side (at least more so than plain fabric). If you're looking for a mask solely to block out the sun while you sleep this may not be the mask for you because if you turn a lot I could see it sliding around due to the weight. I always woke up with it next to me rather than on my face, but this didn't bother me in the least. Conclusion: I did not expect to love this as much as I did. I quickly incorporated this mask into my bedtime routine finding the coolness relaxing and comforting as well as a solution to my chronic nasal congestion problem. I actually lost my first one about a week after I got it, and after two nights without it had to order a new one because I missed it so much!

I have purchased this twice because I love it so much I wanted to keep one where I frequently spend the night so I don't lose the one for home. The gentle pressure of the beads is a soothing sensation on the sinuses and the weight seems to help my brain turn off and for me to go to sleep. After wearing it for a while it really has helped to train my brain that it's sleep time. Since it's beads, it's easy to gently press them about for the most comfort if you're a side sleeper like I am, so there's no extra pressure if your cheek presses onto it. That also lets it block the light exceptionally well. The band is comfortable and does loosen up with use, which may be an issue if you move around a lot at night, but I haven't had it slide out of place yet. Will likely pick up a third to keep in my travel bag too. And I haven't even tried putting it in the freezer yet. Great product.

Everyone needs this mask in their life! So I first thought this mask a couple years ago but after a few uses my dog chewed it up. The sleep I was able to get those few nights I used it was so nice i had to get another. The beads usually stay pretty cool, but not cold, which is great for winding down and relaxing at night. You are able to open your eyes underneath still, but it blocks out enough light it keeps it dark. I was concerned with it staying in place at night due to its heavier than normal weight and the thin strap, but it does a good job even for me who rolls all over throughout the night. A lot of nights I will have bad tension headaches behind my eyes, so I'll put this on and in the morning I feel great and was able to fall asleep quickly too. My 9 year old daughter recently had a headache and due to her age I am hesitant to give her any medication, so I had her use my mask. She said her headache was gone the next day and she slept great. Unfortunately we we're traveling and she left the mask at the hotel, so of course I had to order my 3rd one! I cannot live without this mask. I am in love with it and have never slept so good before. If you have tension headaches, just want to relax after a long day, or just need help falling asleep at night, you need this mask in your life.

I bought the mask for the nights before work because I get really stressed out and don't get any quality sleep (I'm a new RN). I feel that having compression around my eyes helps me sleep better. The mask does give good compression and it's not that hard to fall asleep with it, but there are some drawbacks. There seems to be some inconsistency with whether the mask comes with a skinny or broad strap (mine has a broad one). The broad strap makes the mask a bit tight and is non-adjustable (one-size-fits-all kind of scenario). Also, it doesn't fit well behind the ears, so I have to put it over my ears (not too big of a deal for me, but it might be for someone else). Also, the mask puts a bit of pressure on the bridge of my nose which is a bit uncomfortable unless I squeeze the beads out from that area. Overall, it's alright, but there is room for improvement. It is made pretty well though, and the stitching seems strong so hopefully the beads won't fall out.

I've bought 2 over the years and I'm about to buy my 3rd. I genuinely don't know what I would do without it, I know that sounds dramatic but it's true. I travel with this thing. I throw it in the freezer if for a bit before bed sometimes too. Idk what happened, but when I hit my late 20's early 30's it got really difficult to close my eyes at night. Granted, life hits hard as I'm sure many of you know. This eye mask, has helped me sleep every single night for years now. Yes, I wake up and sleep-me has ripped it off, but it stays put when it counts. It's easy to put right back on and I really appreciate that they made the band wider too, the original was very thin and didn't stay put as well. However, I want to emphasize it never matters to me how well it stays put throughout the night- I put it on to fall asleep, once the job is done I'm good. It's super comfortable too. Thanks for making a product that genuinely improves my day to day life.

I really like this mask. I notice i always look forward to using it. I like its weight the most, if you're a light/nervous sleeper like me. It does block out a tremendous amount of light (i sound like Trump!). The only bad thing is that you really could not sleep on your side with this ('cos gravity would pull the weight of the mask down). I think all the comments about a flimsy clip might misunderstand its mechanism. You just squeeze it and use it. Update: no, the clips do suck

Sehr angenehme zu tragen, ich enpfinde das Kühlen als sehr angenehm. Leider hält die Wirkung nicht so lange an :(. Werde mir warscheinlich noch eine zweite holen.

I keep mine in the freezer in case of migraine. It works really well. It helps to block out light, it feels lovely and cool around your eyes and because it has some weight in it, it applies gentle pressure to your forehead and cheekbones (without pressing on your eyes). Comfortable enough to sleep in as well.
