Ateco Cast Iron and Non-Slip Pad Cake Stand, 12 inch, White

I LOVE it! The Ateco 612 is a basic, heavy metal revolving cake stand without ball bearings. It works perfectly! It has a good, heavy weight so it remains stationary. The spin is smooth and easy. It will require simple maintence (greasing the pivot) through out the years but is well worth the savings over the 613 modle. I am not a professional baker, but I bake a LOT...especially cakes for friends, family and special occasions. This piece will make my decorating a lot easier. If you are looking for a durable, heavy, revolving cake stand without having to spend a bunch of money...this is the one you are looking for. It will last a lifetime. Very good quality and is a piece I would hand down to my daughter someday. I seriously considered the Ateco 613 because of the positive and abundant reviews but was a little put off by the price. I didn't find much in the way of reviews for the Ateco 612. The 612 is seriously awesome, really. Much, much better than the little plastic stands.

Very nice cake decorating stand. My daughter worked in a bakery for years and this is the one they used. Now that she's moved on, she wanted one of her own. She LOVES it and it appears like it will last a very long time.

This cake stand is very sturdy and easy to clean. Takes about the same room as one of the Wilson stands but it doesn't compare when you're making a big, heavy cake. I bought this for my wedding cake. Swiveled just fine even with 3 layers(6 actual cakes on top of it!) and didn't move away from the counter top like others made out of plastic with just some lame rubber on the bottom. Very happy with this purchase. I thought the ateco logo would look bad but it is actually very discreet and this would work great as a display too. I'm sure this is also a lifetime product. It's a strong cast iron that won't chip, crack, bend or have any other damage like plastic or thin aluminum. It's worth the extra money and you won't find a better product for the price.

I love the Ateco 612 cake stand!! I have tried a couple cheaper plastic ones and returned them after one use. I was always nervous to spend the price and wondered if if would live up to its value. I recently attended a cake show and was able to try several different brands and sizes and decided that if I ever saw this one for a good price I'd grab it. I've searched around on-line and amazon is the absolutely best price! Even the Ateco salesperson suggested buying it on Amazon. The only negative thing I can say is, I regret not buying it years ago!! The base is level and sturdy iron and the top revolves smoothly and is completely level. The top also just slides out for cleaning (so you cannot pick it up by the top). I run a cottage food bakery so this has become an essential tool in my kitchen!

So glad I took the time in shopping for true quality built product that helps the cake get iced with ease in a timely manner. This turn table will last for decades to come

This is the original Ateco cake stand. This stand is cast and very heavy. Excellent for cake decorating. I've used one for over 30 years and never had an issue. You'll be impressed with the smoothness and strength to hold a 16 in layer cake and function as if it were weightless. It's value of cost for its longevity cannot be measured by any other. This is the stand you'll find in commercial bakery cake rooms.

I recently made a huge cake and couldn't have done it without this stand. It's 12" diameter circular top perfectly balanced my huge 14" square cake drum with a huge cake atop. Just takes a tiny touch to move the top so it turns as you view your cake or decorate. The top separates from the base, and the base is solid but not too heavy to move. It will keep spinning if you spin it, as there is no mech to stop that. Elevates your project to a nice height. Professional grade. Comes with a non slip pad that covers the entire top. I love it!

I just get mine today and tested it but it's a bit wobbly. Is this normal?

Perfetto lo cercavo da tempo; compatibile con lo stand per il dummie. Sono felicissima di avere il set completo cosi' i miei lavori risulteranno perfetti senza troppo stress.

Es un poco pesado, pero es una herramienta imprescindible para la decoración de tartas, gira de maravilla y su montaje es muy muy fácil por decir nulo. Lo único por poner alguna pega es que la caja vino un poco dañada y rota, pero por lo demás funciona de maravilla.

Excelente. Tem um giro perfeito, e fixa bem na mesa. Recomendo.
