Instructions to build are clear and also come with the Screwdriver and spanners. What i would say is get someone to help when you put the sides together just a bit fiddly. What a difference to barrel bbqs. This gives a better cook which is down to the movable charcoal tray. Well worth the money.

Absolutely perfect in every way. Ive used it twice so far, today i cooked a ton of food for 15 people over 4 hours. It didn't skip a beat. I purchased this charcoal grill in July 2025, and I'm writing this review after my first use, a couple of weeks after assembling the product. Initial Impressions & Packaging The packaging was excellent. The box arrived four days before the estimated delivery date, which was a pleasant surprise. It was a heavy box (over 30 kg), but everything inside was safe and sturdy. Each piece was individually wrapped in plastic, ensuring no damage during transit. My first impression upon unboxing was that this was a substantial product. Key Features & Performance I was initially attracted to the size of this grill, and it has not disappointed. I had a barbecue for five people last weekend, and it was perfect. Having done barbecues my whole life, I can confidently say this grill is large enough to easily cook for 20 to 25 people without any issues. The primary function of grilling is flawless. It cooks food perfectly, and the four different heights for the charcoal tray are a fantastic feature. This allows for excellent heat control, which makes a huge difference in the final result. The only minor issue I've noticed is a small tear in the black paint on the inside of the grill after its first use, but it's not a major concern. Ease of Use & Setup Assembly was a bit of a challenge and took me around two hours. The instructions were mostly clear (about 95%), but a few pieces weren't labeled, which made things a bit more difficult. After assembly, I noticed the main part of the grill was a little wobbly. I had to tighten the screws a bit more, and it's fine now. As expected, the metal expands a bit when the grill gets hot, causing a slight loss of alignment, but it's not a big deal. I highly recommend seasoning the entire grill before its first use. There are many tutorials on YouTube; I used canola oil and it worked wonders. As the last picture shows, cleaning after the first use was very easy because I had seasoned the grills properly. Design & Build Quality The design is attractive and functional. The two side tables are incredibly useful for holding food and tools, which is a great bonus. The bottom shelf also provides extra storage. The one major downside, however, is the wheels. They are made of cheap plastic and feel very flimsy. Moving the grill is a bit unsettling because the wheels don't feel sturdy and I worry they might collapse. Once the grill is in its final position, it's fine, but the wheels are a definite weak point. The two side tables come at the cost of not having a handle, which makes moving the grill even more difficult. Value for Money I believe this grill offers great value for money. With proper care—such as seasoning the grills and applying oil to the metallic parts during the winter—it should last for many years. The quality of the grill itself, especially its performance, makes it a worthwhile investment. Pros & Cons Pros: Large grilling surface perfect for big gatherings. The two side tables and bottom shelf are very useful. The four-height adjustable charcoal tray allows for excellent heat control. Cons: The wheels are very cheap and flimsy, making it difficult to move. The lack of a handle to move the grill is a notable drawback. Overall Recommendation & Star Rating I would definitely recommend this product to anyone in need of a spacious and high-performing charcoal grill for their backyard. It's an excellent option for those who host large barbecues and are willing to take the time for proper assembly and seasoning. I'm giving this product 4 out of 5 stars. The grill performs its job very well and has some great features, but the poor quality of the wheels is a significant flaw that prevents me from giving it a perfect score.

Very sturdy build instructions are easy to follow, take your time and follow instructions and you’ll find it goes together really nicely. Nice to have a proper cast grill not flimsy wire, very heavy so be careful and enjoy

my son in law set the bbq up for me. i was very pleased with the result. i want to season it before use, i might just do the grates in the oven, as it says, season 2.3 times just look on ytube how to season your bbq, if your not sure, the grates should wipe clean with a soapy cloth after use. my only slight niggle, there is no handle to move the bbq, but i intend to add one for easier movement great bbq very pleased , well worth the money

Excellent bbq, allow 2 hours to build (and if you send me a fiver I'll tell you where the 2 parts labelled no.32 actually go) because they have been missed off the instructions! It's a quality bbq though, no sharp edges and a real quality feel to it, even the instructions are printed on high quality glossy paper ! Can't wait to cook one this bbq, it's worth every penny (especially with the current 30% off) ! Top tip, carefully empty the blister back of nuts bolts etc into labelled pots before you get going, you'll thank me for that later !

this looks great in the pics, but for the price i hadn't expected it to be in 100 pieces, with every single thing needing to be built. i've bought cheap bbq from argos etc and most of it was made. this thing, wow. it's a 3 hour job. be warned if you buy, it's a big job.

VonHaus Charcoal XL BBQ. This is a very good quality bbq. It arrived in bits and takes a while to construct but its not difficult. My first go at cooking on it went really well. The height adjustable heat made it easy to keep the food from burning and the other grill level kept the food hot when cooked. All together it was a good experience and I'll recommend this to anyone 👌.

Top Grill für den Preis. Alle Teile waren ganz und er lässt sich gut benutzen. Das einzige was ich hinzufügen würde, wäre ein Griff um ihn auf den Rädern ein paar Meter ziehen zu können. Stört aber nicht

Excellent barbecue et de bonne finition. La viande était saisie et cuite à la perfection, un régal. La grille en fonte apporte beaucoup à la qualité de la cuisson et au goût. Le surcoût par rapport aux autres barbecues made in china, est pleinement justifié. Le montage est facilité par un manuel clair et aussi par des pièces et vis toutes numérotées. Faut compter, entre 1h et 1h30 de montage. Maintenant à voir sur la durée. J'ai dans l'idée que la fonte est bien plus durable que les alliages classiques les plus répandus.

Produit de qualité. Montage "peu" compliqué accessible à tous. Les vis présentées sous blister un plus à développer. L'aspect final est top. Le premier feu est fait et j'apprécie le réglage du foyer. Choix judicieux pour se faire plaisir.

Der Grill erfüllt seinen Zweck. Er ist praktisch. Auch für größere Partys geeignet. Eine Abdeckung wäre als Zugabe schön gewesen. Sonst klappt alles wunderbar.
