The wounds are made from a new, skin-like material and have been designed by Special Effects artists, so they can hardly be distinguished from real wounds. The wounds adhere independently to the human skin and are very durable. Using ultra-flexible materials, the adherent wound moves with the simulation patient, making it even more realistic. An elaborate colouring makes the artificial skin look absolutely lifelike and the feel of the wounds is hardly distinguishable from real skin.
