I bind my own books (hand-sewn), and I've been looking for a good lightweight paper for years. Finally it's available! In book form (two-sided), typical 20lb copy paper results in about 500 pages per inch (PPI). This stuff is about 625 PPI, or 25% more pages. This makes a big difference when printing larger books: it allows the overall book to be smaller, and it also allows more pages per "signature."This would also help with people wanting to make simple booklets (folded and stapled), but you'd have to be careful I would think because the thinner paper won't be as strong and would be more likely to rip out at the staples. Sewing instead of stapling would probably be stronger, and you'd want a good card-stock cover.Also IF you have a printer that supports the paper (and set the driver correctly), this paper feed extremely well. NOTE: many older printers do not support paper below 18lbs. If the printer doesn't support it, don't be surprised if it jams. I'm using an HP LaserJet M15w and it prints quite nicely.About the reviews which say this feels like tissue paper: you have to know what you're getting. This is NOT standard copy paper. If you're looking for that, go get 20lb paper. But if you want something lighter weight (either because it's more environmentally friendly or because it's thinner), then this is your baby. This stuff is great.

I absolutely love this paper! Bond paper is too thin to put through a printer but this is lighter than the typical 20lb office paper so I can print up to 3 double-sided sheets and post them for the same standard letter rate as I would with 2 sheets of regular copy paper!It feeds through the printer perfectly too. One or 2 sheets pulled through with the top sheet too but this is fine.I love that it's thin and I can print on it. Now I'll be doing much more letter writing and snail mail!Loved that there are 625 sheets in a ream instead of the standard 500! This ought to last me until end of the year!I'll be purchasing more of these in future!

I just had an office mate refer to this as being right between regular paper and the paper that bibles are printed on.We have had no troubles using this in several printers around the office. Its thinness allows for more sheets at a time to go through the shredder.Even though it claims to be as bright as our other 92 bright paper, the thinness makes it seem duller. The box was damaged when we got the case, despite the box being shipped inside another box, so the case is quite flimsy.The idea of this paper is great, but I think it still needs some improvements. It was a few dollars more than we typically pay for paper, so it was not a good deal. If it was even a dollar less, we'd probably start using this as our primary paper for all of the single use papers that we need to create to satisfy regulations.

Well I only bought this because I had a coupon and it is horrible paper, saying paper thin is an understatement in this case. It is so thin it is almost unusable, I run it through my fax machine and it isn't thick enough to make it through the roller without getting folded or torn in some cases. If you write on it with a gel pen it bleeds through and or is seen on the other side so double sided printing is out. Will never buy 16lb paper again and can't wait until everyone in the office uses it all so I can order some normal paper again. I would also like to note that this paper cost more than normal copy paper without a coupon so even if you are okay with a lack of performance it cost more and all the good reviews on this product look to be from reviewers that got the product for free or at a discount in exchange for a good review if you read them all the way to the bottom.

Love this paper to due my paper piecing on. Tears easy, but still holds up well.

I didn't notice that this paper is 16lb - I have never seen this light-weight sold before - it IS very noticeably thinner / lighter than "normal" paper. That being said - I haven't had any issues with it and our printers - or writing on it with a pen - fine point or othewise. The pages DO prove to be a bit more see-through than 20lb paper - but - I'm not printing duplex - so - it's not really an issue for me. Over all - a decent value - might even take up a little less room in file cabinets??? Probably not :)

I was looking for paper that was the same weight as notebook paper to make adapted paper for a teen that doesn't want to look different from her peers. This was exactly what I needed! It seems like the exact same feel as regular spiral notebook paper. It is slightly see-through as you can see in the picture. I put a magazine underneath to demonstrate. I had no issues printing With My Brother laser printer. When I use it to print regular documents it's fine except double-sided printing is kind of see through. I would use this for one sided printing.

Bought this for using to print quilting patterns on so I can sew through paper to follow pattern. Works great and tears off easily once I've completed my sewing. My printer does not jam when using this paper.

Papier très mince , mon imprimante à beaucoup de misère à les faire glisser bien droite , je dois ajustée tout le temps mais l'impression est plutôt bonne quand même
