This vintage style metal lock and key will make a great paperweight on your office desk or a lowkey decor on tables and shelves. This item ships in 1 carton. Brass lock and key makes a great gift for any occasion. Suitable for indoor use only. Made in India. This is a single lock and key. Vintage style.

Review: Not great for actual security but cool points, yes - I love this lock! I bought one a few months ago to use for my locker at work. This lock isn't that much more expensive than a basic master lock so I went for it. Obviously this lock is NOT going to save my stuff from getting stolen from someone determined to break in and steal my things, it is very easy to pick. But to deter opportunistic thievery from small children this works just fine and looks pretty cool. I like this lock so much I decided to get another one to use for personal belongings in my own home. Again, if someone really wants my stuff this lock isn't going to stop them but to keep away people randomly digging through my things for fun this works just fine. Also should note! The keys are universal for the locks. Despite them having unique notches it doesn't actually matter. The keys I have for my first lock works just fine on the second one. As noted by other reviewers both locks came to me very rusty. I just rubbed it down with disinfecting wipes and no problems since then.
Review: working lock - perfect for securing pirate's chest! - I purchased 3 of these locks to secure a pirate's chest. We were in the Caribbean and I staged hidden treasure for 3 boys (7-9 y.o.). I wanted them to think they found "real" buried treasure. These locks were absolutely perfect. They had a cool patina and looked old. The keys were perfect as well and easily opened the lock. The only quality issue was that the brass plate covering the key hole fell off on all 3 locks after it was swung up 2-3 times to access the key hole. This wasn't a huge deal but could be improved upon. I'll review the items that i put inside the box separately if you're trying to make your own realistic treasure :-)
