I use two of them, the first jack outputs all power to either a plugged in external speaker or the internal speaker, and the second jack uses the unplugged passthrough output of the jack 1 to connect an external speaker serially. So, three options: nothing plugged in gets the internal speaker, jack 1 sends to an external speaker and mutes the internal, and the third option sends to both the internal and external speakers. Just make sure you do the proper ohms calculation for an acceptable serial connection. **Q: Will these jacks switch from wired to the input jack, i.e. like a Neutrik jack? OD slightly larger *by M***Y on October 5, 2025* used as replacement for original Cliff jack on PCB. It fit PCB and mounted to the correct height. Though, Jack OD is ~0.020" larger than original Cliff jack... small effort to enlarge the amp chassis. Operated as expected. Interested to see long term reliability.
