The product is fine, but it's correctly written that it may deter larger birds, it certainly doesn't stop them. Our Jackdaws are still the main visitors and the little birds are no where to be seen.

Excellent service. Good quality seed feeder. Keeps bigger birds out & little ones in. Might take a while for the bluetits to get use to it. Some go straight in, whilst others are a little unsure yet soon enough, they go in. Highly recommend

We have a very cleaver pigeon hence why we bought this product. We had hoped that he would have met his match but no. We also noted that the size of the gaps enabled blue tits to access the nuts but not Great tits. We have made some adjustments and changed the construction adding and taking away bits and we think we have now enabled the Great Tits and stopped the pigeons! Other than this it’s a good quality product for the price.

This bird cage is built to a price, and it most definitely shows. It doesn’t feel particularly sturdy, and I suspect that within a couple of years it will need replacing. However, while that is conjecture, what isn’t is that the sparrows—who happily fed from a conventional bird feeder—have completely given up on this one! Did it stop the magpies and crows who were the reason I bought it? Yes. However, what’s the point of a bird feeder if the smaller birds can’t actually use it? Ah well, it's back to the old feeder while I look for something else to try.

Great design as is camouflaged. For years pigeons have dominated in the garden knocking down bird-feeders and eating large amounts of seed from the ground. However they gave up within an hour of putting up this new feeder! Pigeons learn quickly of course so the word must have got out - immediately they've stopped bothering to come. The small birds have also quickly learnt that they can feed freely and undisturbed and are flying and out of the garden in great excitement. I wasn't convinced this would work but the effect is both instant and amazing. I wish I'd bought one years ago - and am immediately ordering a second one! It was certainly worth trying it!!

Sadly they haven't lasted long with the squirrels they can lift the top up & get inside, also get their head through the bars & have chewed the openings to bits.

Die Futterstelle ist ein echter Problemlöser. Mein Problem: Ich wollte die Kleinvögel füttern jedoch waren die Tauben immer zuerst da und haben die Kleinvögel verjagt. Zudem haben die Tauben um die bisherige, offene, Futterstelle "Wache gehalten". Das ist vorbei. Die Tauben sehen neidvoll zu - kommen an das Futter aber nicht heran. Jetzt haben die Tauben offenbar aufgegeben und kommen nicht mehr. Dafür jede Menge - tatsächlich jede Menge - Kleinvögel. Schön... :-) und sehr zu empfehlen.

I replaced my old feeder with this one because the large birds were eating all the food and scaring the small birds away. I noticed the small birds don’t like this feeder and after trying to use it, they haven’t returned at all. The large birds can easily access the food which can be seen in the photo - waste of money.
