These are very nice jeans! The denim material is substantial without being bulky. The jeans are well made. They are a high rise Jean, just what I wanted. The front pockets could be deeper but at least the jeans have pockets. The zipper is sturdy. The jeans fit my waist and hips well. I am a very curvy woman, and usually have trouble with jeans not fitting my waist. I’m also tall, and the jeans could be longer but these jeans do come to just below my ankle with a boot cut. The jeans are stretchy and comfortable. The jeans don’t get baggy at the end of the day. I will buy this style again, and recommend to my friends.

I have purchased these jeans in department stores for many years but they have gotten very expensive. When I saw these at such a great price I purchased 2 pair, a week apart because I wanted to make sure they fit.The first pair was the black and exactly like the blacks I have purchased in Belk, Kohl’s and Penny’s, they run a little smaller but since I have lost 42 pounds over the last 7 months I was ok if they were smaller so I would have something for when I get down to a smaller size. To my surprise, the black pair actually wasn’t that much smaller than my other 16W that I had purchased fromBelk and at Kohl’s in December, once I lose 5 more pounds they will fit great in the waist.I decided to order another pair, this time in Portland Wash, a darker blue, these fit wonderfully. I will say I did order a 16W short and these are average but since I can sew, it won’t be a big deal to cut it down and sew it to be the correct length.I just wish I could get a 14W for when I reach my next goal but I will go into a local store and try on the misses size to see what size I need to order from Amazon. Super fast delivery, even on the last one that indicated I wouldn’t receive it until 1/23-1/31, I actually received it in 3 days.These jeans are perfect for a 72 year old woman to wear, very comfortable and flattering.

I have been a lover of the Gloria Vanderbilt Classic Amanda Jeans for a long time. I bout these because they are about $15.00 cheaper than at local department stores.They are good, quality midweight denim, with a good amount of stretch that provides all day comfort when the jeans come from certain countries of origin. I love, love love the Scottsdale Wash pair, they fit and feel terrific.Unfortunately, like most American companies these days, product fabrication is outsourced to several other countries for cheaper materials and labor. With this, comes a complete disregard for quality control.I purchased both the Scottsdale Wash and Rinse Noir colors in the same size. Scottsdale Wash was made in Bangladesh, and Rinse Noir was made in Jordon. The Scottsdale Wash fit perfectly, the material was soft and smooth, mid weight denim, had the right amount of stretch over-all and the waistband was a little stretchy.The Rinse Noir pair made in Jordon was a little heavier weight, very rough and course to the touch, had very little stretch over-all, and the waistband had absolutely no stretch, and the hips were cut about an inch smaller than the other pair (again, same listed size). Sadly, I am having to send the Rinse Noir pair back.I wish I knew of a way to really get through to the company to let them know how inconsistent the sizes can be between the different countries (I've sent the suggestion to corporate before). I just wish there could be a standard that could be stuck to, so that each color stayed consistent in feel and fit so I could benefit from the lower price with Amazon.

I was unsure about how tight the legs would be because I have thick thighs. Not only does it fit perfectly and loosely, but the fabric stretches a little. Like the waist stretches about 1 inch, which is great for people who fluctuate sometimes. Another reason I was concerned about the leg was because I wear a leg bag. It is concealed very well with no discomfort walking or sitting. The fabric looks and smells brand new and is surprisingly soft compared to other jeans I have worn. I have 6 of these in my cart. I bought 1 to test the brand and the size. I will definitely be buying all of them. These jeans are also less expensive than most of the ones I found at Walmart. So major win. The sizing chart was spot on. Do yourself a huge favor and check it so you know which one to get. I have a large variety of colors in my cart, so I might get 2 of each. My current wardrobe is filled exclusively with decade-old clothes from donation centers, so it feels really nice to be in some new clothes that fit properly. It is amazing how a good pair of pants can make you feel better. Thank you Vanderbilt.

I am 5'9, curvy, big hips, big butt, smaller waist. My normal size is 24, my old jeans are fitting tight, so based on the reviews, that's what I ordered because I read they tend to loosen and stretch out. Like other reviews, they are not going to fit perfectly over a large booty, they are going to ride low in the back, but that's how most of my other jeans fit, so I'm used to it and I deal with it. I like the fit, they have just enough power in the tummy area, and the legs are not tight. They fit like a boyfriend jean, and I think the denim is fine, it doesn't feel cheap to me. I'm tall, I ordered average and they are about right. I usually tuck them into boots or roll them up and wear them cropped with cute shoes, anyway so that's not a major concern of mine. Check your inseam if you worry about this. Bottom line, if I can get them on, zip and button them, they have a little extra tummy support, and I don't have to spend all day fussing with them, I'm good! These will work.

This would have been the perfect pair of jeans. The quality is excellent, thick and well constructed. They felt true to size, maybe a tad on the bigger side. I would love to keep them but I was sent a short pair rather than a regular length, which I had ordered. Many reviews mentioned not receiving what they ordered.
