Great boot and comfortable as well.
The boots look and feel great. I had to walk on them for a few days to break them in but now they feel great. Rained here really bad in nyc today and my feet are dry as if it never rained at all...

Worth it, very comfortable
I tried these in lieu of 511 and Danner, they both killed my feet. These are like walking on clouds. I compared them side by side to redwings and ended up keeping the pair I bought. My work pays for boots just not these ones and I still come out of pocket to pay for them. They came highly recommended by my boss and I’m glad he told me. 5 stars.

Good choice for patrol boot
I’ve been due a new pair of patrol boots for a long time, and ordered a pair of these through my agency’s annual equipment list. After they didn’t arrive for a long time, it was time to bite the proverbial bullet and just buy a pair. These being on the list steered me to them, I had never heard of Thorogood before, having worn Bates or 5.11 boots for most of my 24 year career. The product was/is as advertised. The “polishable” toe took well to a proper polishing and holds it better than any of my previous boots. The construction of the boot overall is excellent. After about a 1 week break in, they are comfortable to wear.One issue I ran into was the extra boot material that folds in when you zip up the boot. I initially folded this flap forward and it was grating on my ankle bone like mad. I was really unhappy with that, until I realized pushing the flap back put the extra material behind my ankle bone, alleviating the issue.The same day these arrived from Amazon, my agency finally delivered my issued (and paid for) boots of the same brand and model. I was going to return these, but decided to wait and see how they felt wearing them for around a week or so. I’m keeping the extra pair and putting them in my closet.I as of yet to wear these in cold/snow/wet weather so I can not attest to the boot’s performance in that environment.

I was looking for US made boots Found these that were supposed to be from the United States Find out there are made in China We'll be returning them.

Worth it
Was skeptical but proved wrong. Very comfortable boots,waterproof and size was correct. Would recommend.

looks=good / comfort=bad
The boot dug into the top off my foot just beyond my toes as I took each step. Couldn't wear them for even a few minutes. Gave 2 stars as they look good and are easy on and off.
