Does this still contain sunscreen? the new packaging doesn't say anything about spf.

Hi Laura, Yes, the Merlot Moisturizer still contains zinc oxide (the spf ingredient). The new packaging, due to design and labeling requirements doesn't taut it, but it's there in the ingredient list. Thank you for asking.

Why use blue 1, and red 33?

The very last ingredients are mere drops. The original plan was to use grape seed skins to color the product, but they turned it an unappealing grey color, so a few drops of color were added. It is a safe colorant and won't stain. Some people really like the color. Thanks for writing.

You mention it still has spf but not the rating. can you advise?

SPF is more of a range when tested, and ours usually tests around 15, it can be around 9-15+. I hope this is helpful.

resveratrol moisture day cream

I purched it also and am so very pleased with the results. So much that I will again purchase it here rather than try and find it in my local stores. It seems to fly off the shelves there and at a higher price. I strongly recommend it for a gentle and effective way to improve your skin. I am 60 and have been using it for a month and love the results I am experiencing with my sensitive skin.

Simple is better - Perfect Moisturizer for any age!

My Mom and I have sworn by this stuff for at least 20 years, maybe longer for her. At 86, Mom wears no make up any more and this is really the only beauty product she uses. I wear it as a primer under my makeup. Since Walgreens stopped selling it, I order for both of us on Amazon.It's amazing how it is absorbed so quickly by the skin but leaves no grease or shiny spots at all. Lots of "fragrance free" products smell like lanolin or chemicals. This smells very faintly of grapes.The zinc oxide does a few things -- it gives sun protection with no "sunscreen" smell whatsoever, it gives the product a little more substance so you use less, and it gives a really nice matte finish for your other make-up.OK so this might be a little heavy if you are under 25 - but everyone else should try it!

Absorbs quickly and has an SPF included!

A great family-owned business has put out a great product for years. Very economically priced. Great value and really works well on the skin to keep it moist. I like the travel size I and took several jars when I went on a 5-month trip to Peru to use and give out as gifts.REPapillon

My main face cream!

I have use this grapeseed cream for years now I have tried to get the other things and always end up back using this one! Light good Fragrance. Not oily at all. Does not hurt eyes at all I’m able to cover my whole face and feel fresh and waste and healthy.
