A huge improvement over stock bulbs
I bought this as a cheap alternative to HIDs. I have a 2009 scion xb and it being winter, i use my headlights a lot. I was going to buy HIDs but i didn't want to cough up 150 bucks for it. While these aren't totally cheap and the reviews stating its short life, i was keen to try it just for the winter so at least if and when the bulbs do burn out, it's probably spring time and i'll just buy HIDs then. I will say it is REALLY bright. Visibility is one of the best i have experienced. And i have owned many cars with HIDs or stock bulbs. The visibility is amazing, the light line is perfect and the range of light is spot on. I can really see everything with these. It almost makes me not wanna ever go HIDs. Which brings me to my only complain. I don't really care about its short life, hell i don't mind buying new ones every 3 months for the performance this has, i just wish the lighting didn't look stock. In the commercial it says its supposed to be "whiter"? I didn't notice that, it just seems brighter than stock, same color. I wish it was a white white. Like how luxury cars come stock. I know those are HIDs but i wish i had the color of the HIDs but with the visibility of these bulbs. I guess i'm happy for now.

Buy from a reputable brand, check the country of origin
Perfect fit replacement bulb (but I already knew that before I ordered the package). I have 50 years of electronics and repair technician experience, so I always do my research before any online purchase. For Sylvania halogen bulbs, there are 4 different classes (according to the back of the package). From Basic to the SilverStar Ultra version I bought. You can review the package chart on the back online before your purchase. I did. The Basic and maybe the next level up, are made in China. Hey, if you're the thrifty type, buy the Chinese products before the proposed tariff war starts. I bought the top of the line because the ratings (by the manufacturer) were the highest compared to the lowest price version. If the headlight replacement for your car requires you to stand on your head and have three assistants (read your car manual and search DIY videos), then please buy the better version. My car, a 2014 Accord, required some minor contorting by my wrist and forearm but I won't be doing that again anytime soon. One important detail: DO NOT touch the halogen bulb "glass" with your fingers.; Your skin oil will cause the "glass" to fry in one spot and prematurely age the bulb. Trust me. Halogen bulbs have been around since the 1960's and I know what I'm talking about. Hold the replacement bulb by its plastic base.

No Need For High Beams! Super Bright! 5/5 Stars!
Bought these for my 2018 Jeep GC, and they are super bright compared to the OEM Stock headlight bulbs. Had them on for a couple months now and these are definitely worth the money especially if you drive a lot at night and or on back roads. Color temp is more on the white side of the K, very bright, bulb casing seems durable, fits perfect, functions as it should and vision is very clear even on the sides on the roads! No need for high beams with these installed! While installing on WK2 year Jeeps it is easier to install these by removing the ECU on the passenger side and removing the CAI on the driver side rather than trying to wiggle your hand up through the tight and narrow access panel holes under the wheel well, especially if you have bigger rims/tires. I would definitely give these bulbs 5/5 Stars and will purchase again!

First bulb blew about 18 months after install. Better than factory, though
I bought a pair for my car in February of 2020, when one of the factory bulbs (Passenger side) went out (8 years in service).Easy to install, mostly affordable, and the lighting seems much better than factory, but I am disappointed the first bulb blew at 18 months. I try to replace things in pairs when it comes to things like headlights, so, I bought another pair, and want to see if this is just some fluke, or I got a, "bad one."These things aren't ARC-light level of brightness, but I DID notice a significant improvement over OEM (I tried 1 new bulb against an old bulb, and it absolutely was EASILY brighter and a bit less yellow).Super easy to install. A phillip's head screwdriver to remove the splash guard under each light, reach-in, unplug, rotate about 60 degrees, and remove. Install is the reverse of removal.I would recommend. They're not THAT much more than factory, they seem to be much brighter, and I am hoping this new one lasts longer. Fingers crossed.*ONE THING OF NOTE! And this is why I am rating it a 4 and not a 2 and clearing my "longevity" rating... KEEP THE NEW BULB CLEAN. DO NOT touch the glass. I MAY have touched the glass during install, but don't think I did; I have long known about Halogen bulbs and grease. I am giving the bulb the benefit of the doubt.

Unfortunately had to update my review...
Changing my entire review, these are TERRIBLE and the company is NO HELP whatsoever. Bought these last summer, had them for exactly 2 weeks over 1 year when my driver's side bulb burnt out. First of all, I usually buy the standard, cheap $10 bulbs and it's amazing how they last for years without issue. Bought a new truck and decided I wanted nice high end bulbs for it so I went with these. After exactly 54 weeks, one blew. I contacted support about the warranty but was told I was S.O.L since it was over the warranty period (by 2 weeks)... Well, I went and bought another set at full price since I wanted them to match. Not even 2 months later, my pass side is also burnt out. So that lasted 14 months. How is it that the cheap $5-$10 bulbs last years, but the high end bulbs that are 6-10x the cost hardly last 1 year?? You'd think theyd say "hey u know what, we'll just honor the warranty even tho it's 2 weeks over", but nope, they could care less. So I'll make sure I NEVER buy this brand again. I've also messaged my friends/family to give them a heads up to never spend the extra $ on the "high end" bulbs since the cheaper ones seem to work much better, and to just avoid this brand Sylvania in general.Horrible product, horrible support.
