These probably wouldn't work outside, but if you have indoor grow lights, they might be the only reasonable solution. I tried all kinds of solutions including bug-zapper lights, sprays, and pretty much anything else I could think of for years, and these strips are the ONLY one that made a difference. One warning, though - my cats do like to try and lick them. I doubt that's healthy, so if you place the, try do make then inaccessible for the kitties.

I'm using in my tomato garden to capture flea beetles that are attacking my tomato and marigolds. They are thick enough to withstand breezes, rain and capture those pests. Not as effective for other bugs like flies or mosquitoes (I hung 1 by my backdoor to test but limited results).Easily cut into smaller strips and attach around the garden. Top and bottom strip doesn't have sticky glue to help while deploying and not creating a bigger messI subtracted 1 star because (like others), it is missing the tabs to deploy in the garden soil.

Love these Gideal sticky traps. They are so effective and easy to use. They go to work killing white flys right away. We wanted something that would be free of chemicals for our tomatoes and cucumbers.

These work very well, I hang them up in my garage and they catch an enormous amount of house flies and other bugs, but especially flies.

I have pretty mixed feelings on this product so far. I mainly purchased them for thrips, which have been destroying my poor monstera minima! I also have plants in a bedroom that have had gnats. The gnats are more of an annoyance than a pest as they haven’t seemed to affect any of my plants’ health so far.Unfortunately for my monstera and other living room plants, the traps have caught very little, if anything. However, they have been wildly successful for the gnats in the bedroom, they even caught a whole fly!I put up both yellow and blue traps to see what would be more effective and the yellow seems to be working better, although I also put more of the yellow out too.In terms of ease of use, I was hoping I’d just be able to stick them directly to my planters/pots, but quickly found they were falling off, so I secured them with some small binder clips instead. They are not as sticky as the blue traps I bought, which are coated in a thick gelatinous glue that you can see with you eyes. These are more of a sticker and are easier to work with since the glue isn’t as strong or plentiful. But they still work to catch bugs, so that’s all that matters!Mine came with a couple holders for the sheets, which worked out okay, except it’s pretty hard to get the traps into them since they’re sticky, and once they are in, the traps tend to fold over on themselves if they’re put the long way in.These are the first traps of this kind I’ve gotten, so I can’t compare them to other brands. In my experience, they work well enough for gnats but not at all for thrips. I’ll have to keep spraying my monstera down for now.

DO NOT LEAVE IN WIDE OPEN!!!! I failed to read reviews on this product because it’s a sticky trap, what much is there to review? So I didn’t see the previous horror stories of birds getting stuck in the traps.As I set the traps up I thought to myself “wow, these are VERY sticky, I have to do something to stop birds from getting stuck.” I set the traps up around 8 pm in my garden and by the next morning a bird was already stuck. I managed to get it off mostly unharmed but the trauma for both the bird and myself was already done.PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE find a safe way to use these where birds cannot get stuck. I feel so bad I didn’t take them down right away when I thought of it. They did work great for the bugs in the few hours I had them out, but until I find a way to save the birds, I won’t be using them.For the seller, I think you should add a warning of the harm these traps pose to birds in the product pictures on Amazon, or find a way to sell these with some kind of safety netting to put around the trap that won’t let birds get close. Just thoughts.

These are the real deal. I tried purchasing some more inexpensive ones from Temu but they weren't nearly as good quality as these. The paper is nice and film film over the glue area comes off cleanly. And oh yeah, they catch a lot of annoying flying insects.
