Got Yale Sync Alarm? THIS is the module you need.
I ended up buying 2 incorrect modules before finding this one. This works with the YALE SYNC ALARM system. Yale have TERRIBLE documentation on which modules to use with which systems. The purple one DOES NOT work with Yale Sync Alarm, but this one does.It basically adds a lock / unlock feature to the Yale Home app and also allows setting user-specific pincodes (so it knows who is entering, based on the code they used to get in). It can also notify you of entry. You can also set schedules, so pins become active between certain times - great for if you have a regular cleaner or babysitter visiting at a certain time each week.It lacks the ability to add and remove fobs / cards which is a bit annoying. But otherwise pretty neat.

Easy to install
Not so easy to set up, but once done, it is great.

Expensive but integrates well
It's expensive for what it is. I have a take night latch lock, the app now shows the lock and this has lead to extra options of opening the lock remotely and adding codes remotely which is helpful.I would only really buy it you need the remote features.

Do not buy! Yale are making this stop working July 2024
Yale’s have announced that from 31st July 2024 you have to have a different module in the lock if you want it to integrate to anything. At the moment you can get the necessary hub at a discount but it’s £69 after this special offer. Can’t believe I have to bin a £40 module that’s less than four years old and working fine AND pay a further £35 to keep the functionality I currently have. Yet another smart home manufacturer taking advantage of their customers

Amazing little gadget for Connexis lock
Tiny little gadget should really be built into the lock as its a great addition to the smart lock as it links effortlessly with Connexis smart lock and Alexa ecosystem. Amazing!

Fully customise your Yale Sync Smart Alarm System by connecting your locks!
This review is for a Sync Lock Module, for use with the Yale Sync Smart Home Alarm. It is essential to note that you will need to already own (or purchase along side this product) the Yale Sync Smart Home Alarm as this lock module is not compatible with any other type of home alarm system. Having made that point, the rest of this review will focus on the lock module and not on the advantages or disadvantages of the Yale Sync Smart Home Alarm systems themselves. The advantage of this lock module is that it enables you to connect the locks on your doors to your alarm system and thus being able to lock your doors and set your alarm at the same time or to that check the doors are locked remotely. However, it is essential to note that you won't be able to avail of these features unless you also have a compatible locking system i.e. this product is effectively the control unit for the lock and not a lock in its own right. From my perspective, I'm not sure I'm quite ready to trust door locks that can be opened and closed electronically and the recent news stories about how easy it is to break into cars that have keyless entry does nothing to improve my confidence in this area! Accordingly, I suspect that I will be sticking to a traditional keyed method for the foreseeable future, in spite of my love of all kinds of smart technology.
