I’ve had these drums for about 4 months now and I gotta say these drums are BEAUTIFUL and great sounding. If you’re wanting a cheap drumset that sounds good buy this one because it sounds perfect and fun to play! And the durability is great, Size perfect. And great for anyone not just beginners also pros.

This was a Christmas gift for my wife. She absolutely loves it. Assembly wasn't hard, tuning was not as difficult as some higher priced kits. Would recommend.

An actually pretty decent drumset for a beginner that’s just learning. Got for my teen and he loves it! Was easy to put together. I do have experience putting drum sets together though so it might be confusing for some. They have lasted pretty decently for the last 2 months with a moderate amount of playing everyday!

UPDATE: Still happy with this. Upgraded the cymbals (planet z pack), got a half tambourine attachment, cow bell (not shown in pics). Both my son and I use it everyday, and at the price point, we can bang it up without me sweating having to get another or new set. Just small upgrades as enthusiasm grows, and practice is daily, makes this set a great deal for beginners. Very happy with this purchase. Bought this for my son as well as myself as we both are diving into this musical realm. I play guitar, so learning this is very different and definitely fun. Assembly: I am not a handy man by any means and don’t do well even with instruction as far as set up. It took a good few hours to get it up and rolling. Patience is key. Watched a video on YouTube on how to set up a 5 piece drum set. It’s was very valuable in terms of set up and helpful notes not listed in the instructions that comes with the set. Playability: for beginners. This is a fine set. I can hear it’s not top quality, but it’s definitely good enough to learn on and by no means does it sound bad. It’s important to watch some video instructions on tuning your set. I hadn’t even thought about tuning a drum set, just knew about tuning guitars and pianos. Once everything is set up and tuned to the best of your ability, this set can crank out some noise! You can set the height for everything, so you can tailor the layout that feels and works best for you. Additional note: I bought a set of noiseless drum covers for playing late night without shaking the neighborhood. They reduce the noise up to 90%. While this was a seperate purchase, I feel it’s a necessary thing to have. Overall we are having a blast with this. It’s beautiful looking, plays as it should within the price range it currently sells for. If your new to drumming and want to start playing beyond a simple drum pad (which is also great to have and practice on), this is an excellent starting point for young kids and adults alike. You can find junior sets on Amazon too for very young kids,, but kids grow out of them fast, and the quality won’t be there. I love this set, I feel it’s worth every penny so long as whoever is using it practices and plays frequently. This gets the job done while being super fun!

I played drums for a long time and OK they’re not expensive but they sound amazing and they are definitely high-quality and they look absolutely great and every single part is included. I was scared cause I couldn’t find the key, but it was hidden in one of the bags lol They sound great for that price. It’s crazy.

This is the best set, price-wise, for a beginner or someone with a little experience. It's made well, but has a lot of parts that have to be assembled and tuned, and it only comes with hi-hat cymbals and a crash cymbal. I also purchased a 20 inch ride cymbal to fully complete the set. It sounds good and there are plenty of instructional drum books on Amazon and many online teachers, some with a few free lessons. C'mon, admit it, you want to bang on the drums all day. At least I do.

Purchased for my sister. Super impressed that it arrived right on schedule! Service-wise, it’s 5 stars. However, the drum kit is only average. The sound is mediocre and one of the drums doesn't sound right at all. don't expect pro-level acoustics.

Been playing drums for over 30 years using mid to upper range kits. Bought this for my 9 year old as her first kit. This is not high end by any means but is sturdy enough, can be tuned decently, and won't bankrupt you. I would highly recommend this kit for a young beginner.
