DII Basic Terry Collection Quilted 100% Cotton, Potholder, Pebble, 3 Piece

These covers are perfect! The 100% cotton material feels durable, and they provide excellent heat protection when handling hot pans. I love the aqua color.They fit well on all my pan handles. Highly recommend if you're looking for both style and function in your kitchen tools!

I liked the color and on the opposite side there is gray fabric panel I believe that it is so you do not get burned. I would but these potholders again.

Recently, I saw that they changed this page's product description (underneath all the color options at the top) to state that these potholders are 8 x 8. The product info didn't used to give a size, and I took a star off in my original review for the potholders' smaller size.When they changed the product description to state that the potholders are now 8 x 8, I got all excited and ordered another set. I just received them today and I am very disappointed. They are the same size as the ones I got back in 2011 (which shrunk a tiny bit after several washings)! The ones received today are 7 x 7 with a loop on one corner. If you hold the loop straight out from one of the sides and measure the holder+loop it equals 8 inches. That must be where they got the 8 x 8 from, and this is FALSE.//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////[original review]I've been looking in stores for potholders with one side in the Silverstone fabric, as my tried and true potholders are still serviceable, but getting stained. I had to give up on finding them in a store, and ordered these on-line from amazon.First, these are definitely thicker than my favorite old ones. These new ones work great as far as protecting thehands. I've washed them and was happy to see that the terry side did not wash out (I bought them in red, and my dryer lint collector did not have any red lint). This means a good quality terry was used. The stitching on the quilting is also good and sturdy.The only reason I knocked off a star is that these are a little smaller than my preferred. My tried and true are 8 1/2" square. These Excello ones are about 7.5" each side (almost square). They still work for me, but even I (with small hands) have to be a little more careful with my thumbs when using them. You may want to measure your favorite potholders and compare their size to the Excello's.All in all, I can recommend these. I just ordered another set in blue for my daughter.Happy Reader

These are attractive and work well. They're a little bigger than most potholders, which I like a lot, because they work well as under-pot protectors as well. The color was perfect for our kitchen.

Not bulky, washable and heat resistant side for hot items.

Well made and worth it.

Potholders like this are hard to come by, so I grabbed them for back-up for when my current set wears out. The terry cloth, color and heat resistant backing are what I wanted, but they are kind of thin. Definitely won't be grabbing a blazing hot pizza pan with these unless I fold them in half. They are big enough to do that, but more batting would be better.

Estos pot holders son de un estupendo tamaño para sujetar cosas calientes, como asas de ollas o de refractarios que salen del horno. La parte interior (plateada) está hecha de un material resistente al calor, mientras que la parte externa (colores varios) es como de felpa de toalla, muy acolchonada y suave al tacto. Nunca se traspasa el calor de lo que sujetan a las manos, son muy resistentes y aislantes de temperaturas altas.La relación precio-calidad es excelente. Y todos los productos de DII para cocina son en general de muy buena calidad. Recomiendo este producto ampliamente y como un elemento básico en tu cocina.
