I've been using for my air Max's and there's a lot I've cut off or fold over.Couple pro tips:1) always put the toe box in the front/top corner. 2) I've found it works best by shrinking that part first, then the bottom under the toe box. I don't think it needs to be perfect at this point.3) At the back, I'll fold it over like I'm wrapping a Christmas present. Since the shrinkwrap gets really warm, I'll "roll" the back on a blanket/towel so it gets a good seal to cool it versus keeping my hand on it (using my hand to absorb the heat, your skin can only take so many shoes before you'd rather let the towel be the one to take the heat)4) probably should wear a mask of some sort. Let me preface this review by saying I've been using a heat gun for a long time so I'm quite experienced with not burning holes in the plastic. The issue I have with these bags is that the diagonal cut (to give it a shoe shape) is clearly cut in bulk, which I understand speeds up the process. However, the bulk heated cut process ends up fusing consecutive bags at the seam, and when you try to separate one bag from the next, you have a high likelihood to compromise the seam because you would be pulling apart fused plastic! As a result, when you heat up that area, holes will appear and spread. You can eliminate this by making the diagonal heated cuts one by one, but this slows down the process. I'm not the manufacturer, so I can't come up with a solution.
