For those of us that have gas stoves, some of the grates can be a challenge for certain items. For me, the challenge was using my stove top Italian espresso maker. If I didn’t place it just right, it would tip over. Annoying to say the least. Stumbled across this listing and ordered it. Placed it on my stove and voilà, no more tipped coffee maker. Fit was perfect and I hardly notice it. Almost looks like it belongs too. I imagine it might not fit everyone’s stove but it was worth the chance and fit my Frigidaire perfectly. Side note. I did purchase one for my friend as surprise and it didn’t work out. It did fit but it wasn’t enough size to cover her needed pan. Imagine everyone’s needs can vary.

It is very nicely made and finished, small enough in the center that it will work with almost any small cookware or coffee maker. It is also the most stable on the stove of any of these I have tried. I am very happy with it, but it is made in China not in Italy. Just be aware of that if it matters to you.

It does the job and allows me to put my little joke-size pots and kettles on my gas range. Cast iron does not conduct heat very well, but it does make an ideal material for crude ruggedness at a cheaper price. Aluminum is much better at conducting heat and also cheap, but as a stand-alone metal it's too easy to scratch/dent/screw up for this application. I bought one years ago and it didn't last more than a few months before it was trash.

This cast iron ring was recommended to accommodate smaller pans on my gas stove.I simply leave it in place on the back burner with the smallest flame.

I like to make coffee in the camper (and at home), but the propane RV stove top grate was too big. The small coffee pot would not fit. I purchased this and it works great! It's made of iron and sits right where I put it as it has small "nubs" on the bottom to keep it from sliding. Other reviewers stated that it is made in China, and after reading the packaging, that is true. The packaging also states that the Italian company strictly oversees the quality of the product. After using it several times, I believe the quality is excellent. I would buy again.

I got this trivet because my 3 cup mocha pot couldn’t sit stably on my gas stove top. This was a great fix. The trivet looks really nice on my cast iron stove top. It fits perfectly and really does the job that I got it for. Great buy, high quality and I’d highly recommend this item.
