The material is very tough and I’ve recorded some great videos of bike rides. You really have to tighten the screw very tight, though, tighter than i can tighten it by hand. The included tool worked well enough, so don’t lose it!

This is a decent mount, that doesn't sit too high, and allows 360 rotation of a GoPro. It is very light. I got it to mount to a crossbar on an e-bike. It works very well. One small issue (minus one star) is that the included finger screw and fixture for the GoPro are not sized exactly right. When I tighten the screw as far as I can comfortably, the GoPro is still a tad bit loose. It holds but a hefty jar or bump will move the camera. So I now use an additional tiny washer to eliminate that.

This solves the mounting of a GoPro to your handlebars perfectly!It's of rock-solid construction and the feature that allows to easily rotate your GoPro, making for unlimited video & camera angles on the fly. I leave it 95% of the time in its forward-facing position to record video while cycling. Additionally, for safety I've mounted the new Garmin RCT715 radar unit to my seat post for capturing rear-facing video. Working together they easily capturing video and still shots while at the same time feeling safer around motorists.Here's the only issue I can see with the product, as well as cures I've found for it.As other reviewers have mentioned the GoPro thumbscrew will not completely tighten to the mount. No matter how hard you try to muscle it the GoPro will NOT be secure. On the 1st bump the GoPro's own weight tilts it backwards 1/4" and requires constant readjustment. Maybe not a huge deal, but personally I like to set the angle once then forget about it.One solution I've found is to run a bead of Fiber Grip around the threads of the thumbscrew before attaching your GoPro. The only downside is it requires reapplication each time the GoPro is detached. a bit time consuming. A better solution is to wrap a couple layers of plumbers tape around the thumbscrew's thread and then the looseness immediately goes away. Both methods however fix the issue.The battery life of GoPro's is well documented and doesn't need explanation, and I keep the Hero 8 powered continuously for any rides over 45 minutes (just about every ride) with a battery pack inside my frame bag. This eliminates the need to change batteries every 45 minutes. A replacement side door for the charging cable is easy to find on Amazon. My photos show how everything's set up.Happy riding!!

The supplied tool and the thumb screw don't fit each other. What's up with that?!Also, you'll need to tighten it. As it sits pretty loose. Use your own thumbscrews for a better chance at it.The 360 degree ability is nice but seems there's no way to lock it down. It just has click positions. Not sure how that will work when bumps are hit.

This mount is excellent! I was a bit dubious before as I've had other mounts but this mount is excellent. Firstly the quality of the aluminium is suberb. Then the fittings and screws supplied with the hex key is outstanding. I mounted this to the handle bars if my 2022 Honda Monkey and the mount remains totally secure even in the worst of bumby roads around Surrey area.The screws provided are also excellent. The 360 degree turning is awsome and you just pull up and adjust the angle and the pivot locks back into place. It truly is worth the money and I was stunned at the build and quality of this mount. I've even attached a GoPro phone mount to the mount and am able to adjust the angle with no issues . This is one fantastic mount and so very versatile. Very happy purchase 😁

Previous purchases of similar items through Amazon have been disappointing but this one works perfectly. There is no movement over bumps when I go off track which was the problem with the one I bought through EVO…who refused to send a replacement. Pricks.
