Measured 40.9 but am trying to cut as have quite a bit of belly fat. Would large be the best option? Thx

Hey Craig, The Large will work at 41", but there will be a decent gap between the two ends of the belt. This is perfectly OK and it won't hurt the function of the belt. If you are planning to loose some belly size, I would recommend the large. Can it be use for strongman events

Hey Donna To be professionally honest I sincerely recommend as you have mentioned your waist is 27 - go for the Small: 27" - 31". As a result from my size of a 34 inch waist Medium: 31" - 36" works perfectly fine for me. It’s completely your choice - god speed and stay healthy. Stephen 👊🏻
