M100 Full HD FTA Satellite Receiver & IPTV- Mini Size

Very small, can be placed behind tv to make a minimalist look in your room. Works perfect, very fast.The only concern is that heats a lot, not sure if this is a problem, but I installed an external cooling fan.Very happy with it. Would look for other product of this brand.

This receiver had gotten pretty good reviews, so I thought I would try it. The first one flat out didn't work. The menu, or anything else, did not show up on the TV. I sent it back, and my customer ordered a unit. Meanwhile, I tried to get a hold of iSmart customer service. I couldn't find a phone number anywhere, but there was a place to send them a message on their web site. I never heard back from them. My customers unit came in, the menu came up, and I could never find Galaxy 19, or Intelsat 5, or anything else in the satellite list that would give me Quality. There was signal, but no Quality. I knew the dish was pointed correctly, because my meter showed good Quality. Everyone deserves a second chance, and iSmart had theirs. I ordered a GeoSat unit. Quite a bit more expensive, but it worked. I had Quality, did a blind scan, and that was that. Five or ten minutes after connecting it, I was done and out of there.

BE AWARE THIS UNIT DOES NOT HAVE AN AUDIO/VIDEO OUTPUT.WHILE THE HDMI PORT IS GREAT THERE IS NO A/V OUTPUT SIGNAL.I CONTACTED THE SELLER AND THEY SENT ME TWO NEW UNITS BUT NEITHER HAVE A/V OUTPUT.IF YOU HAVE AN OLDER TV WITH NO HDMI INPUT YOU ARE OUT OF LUCK.I CONTACTED THE SELLER AND TOLD THEM BUT NO RESPONSE.THEY SHOULD SAY IN THEIR AD THERE IS NO A/V OUTPUT.I NEED THIS FOR AN OLDER TV WITH NO HDMI INPUT.BUT I GUESS I NEED TO BUY ANOTHER TV WITH HDMI. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

THE GOOD:Compared to other FTA receivers, it's very inexpensive.It comes with HDMI cable, IR receiver cable, USB WIFI adapter, and remote.It's very low profile.It's HD, and the FTA part works pretty wellTHE NOT SO GOOD:The IP-TV stuff seems sketchy, so don't expect it to replace a Ruku box, in that regard, they are worlds apartIt's a small independent brand (it appears to be a rebranded product which may or may not be solid) so support is limited to the gentleman who comes here. Then again, FTA receivers are all kind of off brand when you think about it as there are no SONY, Pioneer, Samsung, etc. receivers to my knowledge.It runs pretty hot.A FEW HINTS:If your satellite is already set up and you're replacing one receiver with another, this is pretty straight forward: Just find out which satellite you want, and do a scan. There are different types of scans, but I found doing a blind scan yields the most networks, though you'd have to go back and organize them. I found the network scan and auto scans to be kind of useless as they seemed to only search one transponder and frequency. Blind scan does everything. The manual here is little help. Also, keep in mind satellite names have changed. Telstar 5 which has all those ethnic programming is now called 97W Galaxy 19. Just find it...if not, you can just add a new dish at 97W and do a blind scan too.If you're setting up a dish for the first time, you're going to go through hell no matter which FTA receiver you use. The dish has to be perfectly leveled vertically and then you have to aim it perfectly. I highly recommend getting a tool for that rather than taking a TV out on the roof or backyard. These aren't Dish Network dishes...signals are weaker and your aim needs to be perfect.

Seller provides high quality service and technical support. I got the receiver exactly on time.It works fine and takes up little space. All functions work good and stable. Receiver has last firmware. User Interface is friendly.I really love it!

Bought on 6-27-14 Because of my dish not being ready. I didn't hook it up until the last week of july. Same experience as many others. Lasted about 3 hours, was watching Montana pbs tv and dozed off for about an hour. When I woke up no video and no readout on box. Only a green power light. didn't get to check out internet functions. Just made it under 30 day return window. Returned to amazon and am awaiting refund.

I got the receiver quickly. I have 2 satellites so I configured diseqc for two 2 satellites, made blind scan and looks like everything ok, but......The interface is exactly as OPENBOX X5 - and the same problem too... If you using one satellite it work perfect but if you switch channel located on another satellite and then back - it couldn't find the signal on first satellite . I checked with different receivers Dreambox 800, IPbox and ferrari 7119HD - they working perfect. Also I went to my friend who has same configuration like mine and was same problem.So if you will use only one satellite it will work perfect.Later I tried contact to [email protected] , the address taken from official site.Got this error:"The error that the other server returned was:550 <[email protected]>: invalid address"Update:Seller contacted to me.Communication with the seller was good, he offered to me a fair solution, so I gave 5 stars.
