I appreciated having multiple bits as they didn’t last drilling thru stainless 1/2 inch plate- but I don’t suppose any bit would. These were ideal for getting the job done and are definitely affordable.

I was drilling 3 holes in hard 1/4 inche steel for a bench vise. My carbon/titanium bits were taking forever to get through, so I stopped after sore arms, shoulders and wrists, and ordered these Cobalt 5% bits hoping they would work beter , and WOW!!! What a difference. Honestly drilled 3 holes in less than 5 minutes. Now I have 1/2 inch drill bits I an depend on. Barely no effort and cut beautifully.I drilled slower speed and used light oil. Worked like a charm.

I have many powertec items. I've never been let down. This tool serves its purpose. It is a little flimsy but it works perfectly fine.

Are these sharp? Meh, they're ok. Will they punch a hole? Yep. Do they last? So-so, but certainly not like cobalt should. Ok, they're far better than the average homeowner crap, and for a homeowner who needs to do some light drilling once in awhile they'd get the job done, but these have NO place in an environment where a good, long lasting bit is needed. I will definitely not buy these again.

I used them to drill out some stainless steel posts. I had no luck with solid carbide, but these worked great.I did have some new tool lube that may have helped.These are 2 flute, I thought they were going to be 3I would but from this supplier again when I need good drill bits.

Drilling out a new set of mounting holes for my tractor 3 point lower lift arms and originally tried HSS. Total waste of time. Ordered these and using low speed and oil, cut was consistent and true. Bit still has a ton of life and I highly recommend cobalt for anything over mild steel.

Replacement for my broken or lost cobalt drills. These are a good value compared to locally priced drill bits of similar quality.

These 1/16" drill bits are about 1.864" ~ 47.33 mm long.These are excellent drill bits. I've been drilling multiple layers of loosely packed thin, flimsy plastic with them. They center nicely and they actually drill through the material properly and not just tear a hole in it.

I found compared to other cobalt bits used in the past (Dewalt or Milwaukee)They don't cut as well.even in mild steel. I'd say they are as good as a good quality HS drill bit

Work ok and the price is right. On close inspection note that not all the point are sharpened correctly. no problem if you own a drill doctor.

I install commercial steel doors for a living. These bits are easily as good as any name brand at home Depot like DeWalt or Milwaukee.
