Stanley K096-SY car kit

I am so disappointed in this product and how the company has advertised them. I bought these clothes pins to hang up my kids artwork. I was so excited to see how nice and well made they looked on the pictures. I like how they advertised that they had "exquisite workmanship" vs "rough workmanship". I was so disappointed when I received my order. They did not look like the pictures at all and the workmanship was terrible. The pictures show how some had holes, rough edges and surfaces, and chipped ends. I requested to return them and have new ones sent. I received the same poor quality the second time plus I had 2 missing! If this is how clothespins are just meant to look that is fine, but to photoshop your pictures to make it look like they are in amazing condition and then to claim that your workmanship is "exquisite" is a lie and misleading.

We wrapped them but only found the catapult in the box later. Not sure if we even got the police car.

Good for kids with adult ciaching since there are small screws and need hammar too.

Great for kids with adhd like my grandson. He loved putting it together by himself.

My 4 year old grandson loved it. It was perfect since his dad is a police officer:)

My grandson who turned 8 loved this. With a little supervision he put the car together.

Overall a good project for a father or grandfather and son/grandson. It is easy to put together with just a little help from the adult, gives the child a sense of accomplishment, and is fun for both participants. The child paints, uses a screwdriver, and gets to use a hammer.I wanted to give this kit a five star rating, but two of the needed pre-drilled screw holes were missing, and two others were out of place. Nothing a semi-competent adult couldn’t handle, but a bit of a nuisance nonetheless.
