They arrived in exceptional shape. Planted them in a bed that follows my side walk to my front door. I must say, I was concerned about them and how successful they would be in that spot. I live in South Dakota, where we get a lot of snow and sub zero temperatures, so I really didn't have high hopes of them wintering over. Add that to the fact that the snow removal people just piled the snow on top of the pines, so at the peak, I had a good 4 foot of snow and ice piled on top of these plants. Well, they not only wintered over just fine, spring has brought on a massive amount of new growth. They are covered with candles and are just looking so lovely. I highly recommend these plants.
