Pilgrim's Progress Workbook for Kids: Christian's Journey: A study guide for Pilgrim's Progress in Today's English

I bought it for a greatgrandmother to use with the child edition of PILGRIMS PROGRESS.she likes the workbook.

This workbook introduces complex literature and theological ideas into bite-size nuggets. We can read and discuss the outlined sections in about 20 minutes on day one. On days 2 and 3, we take 10-15 minutes to answer questions, define words, and reflect on what we've learned as it relates to the Christian experience. The reading is simplified, not abridged, or dumbed down from the original. This valuable tool would be a great foundation for a later re-reading of the original.

These workbooks are a valuable resource for self or group study, and for both children and adults. While there is a wealth of information to be pulled form the story that could fill volumes of study guide materials, these workbooks are a great resource themselves to help gain understanding and use for review as a companion to the book "Pilgrims Progress ~ In Today's English"

An awesome workbook and helps link all the analogies in the story with the scripture. Highly recommend.

The book is helpful as a guide, and gives good descriptions of the symbolism. There are questions that are helpful for review and comprehension, but there aren't real thought provoking and application type questions like I was hoping for.

While this author recommends using this book with an updated version of Pilgrim's Progress, we used it with the classic version successfully. It proved to be a great resource for interpreting the classic version. It took some work combining the two, but was worth the effort.
