Don't Miss This One
Pete Biro is one of the top motorsports photographers in the world and has been for over 50 years. His work has been published worldwide in many books and magazines. This well selected cross-section of Pete's subject portraits will delight anyone with an interest in professional racing in all its forms. This new book provides an inside look at the drivers, crew members, and owners who thrilled us in Formula 1, Indy Car, drag racing, sports car racing, Le Mans, Trans-Am, and Can-Am racing; some are still with us, many are not. For new fans, this is a chance to catch up on racing history starting in the 1960's and the who's who of star drivers of the day. Amateur and professional photographers will enjoy this book as a case study of the proper way to capture the full range of human emotions, which are at the heart of the professional motorsports.

If this is the best Pete Biro has to offer for all of his ...
I'am very disapointed with this book! If this is the best Pete Biro has to offer for all of his years shooting photos at race events then his editor needs his ass kicked. The photos are mostly substandard shots and quality with some half hartedly captions. With a chance to do a "book" like this, I would have expected a lot more. I have done better with a throw-a-way camera and a week end at Laguna Seca! Come on ! this book sucks, and is the absolute worst automotive/racing related book I have "ever" purchased! The only reason it's not in the garbage is out of respect for the drivers in it.........I want my money back!!!!!

Must have if you like formula racing
Not your usual racing book - concentrates on closeups of the drivers that only a photographer like Biro could get - intimate images at close range.
