Overall I like it. I attached it to the foot of a long lens so I could mount it on a ballhead. My only complaint is that the screw used to attach it doesn't hold properly. I don't think there are enough threads on it. I compared it to other arca-swiss plate screws I have, and the others are all about %20 longer with more threads. Just be aware you might need to find a better attachment screw.

The quality of the metal is great. The size is great. It attaches easily. The only issue I have is it does not stay tight. I installed this on a 150-600mm lens and put it on my tripod. I touched my camera and it started loosening the plate. I carefully removed it from the arca swiss mount and tightened it with a wrench, unfortunate though the same thing. I Iooked at some of my other plates and they all have a anti slip rubber material that is attached to the plate and goes against the camera or lens mount area. If this had such a thing it would be stars. But it does not so I am not going to use it.

Not only is this sturdy but it is designed well. Love the fact that the folding little ring/handle for tightening the set screw folds up and STAYS up out of the way. I have version made by a different company and that little thing is always hanging down making it difficult to attach the plate to the tripod! Costs just a bit more but well worth it!

Love this Colorado Tripod arca plate! Now, can we have a 90 or 100mm version for larger ball heads?

The fit with our RRS heads is it just barely gets tight. Your better off with the RRS plate or Haoke QR plate.

Nice size, good material but it would not stay tight to the larger lenses, 200-500.

First time purchasing from this company. Very satisfied. High quality part and great packaging too. Only wish they would have included an extra 1/4 20 screw.

Needs a rubber skid plate. Mounted on tripod collar of Sigma 150 - 600 lens. Not enough grip between plate and tripod collar. I had to cut a small piece of rubber from old bicycle inner tube for grip. Nice and long, so I can balance the lens on the tripod.
