So far, so good in regards to these hinges. They are certainly made better than the originals and because of that there's a little wear in period involved. Because they are thicker they are more "firm" when it comes to closing the top down but after a week or two of using they are finally allowing the top to stay up. Not a problem at all if they last. Funny writing a review for a cooler hinge, I remember years ago one broke ad my Dad just tossed it. Times have changed for sure. Anyway, it works great and is certainly better than original.

I've had my Igloo cooler for 25+ years and the thing has survived it all. The only weakness has been the OEM hinges that seem to last a few years before the inevitable reach inside for a cold one that leaves the lid flapping in the breeze (mind you that it is always someone else that seems to break them). The replacement kit comes with everything you need and takes about 3 minutes to get your lid up and swinging again. The hinges are extremely flexible and strong. I was pulling on the lid as hard as I could and there's no way these suckers are breaking. I'm planning for another 25 years with the cooler but now with no more repairs to keep it chillin!

I didn't see examples of what I believe is one of the most common Igloo coolers so here they are. I thought I was going to have to live with a broken, floppy lidded Igloo until I randomly found these. I installed the hinges in two minutes and my cooler is as good as new.

These were very easy to install. Came with all the right hardware and fit perfectly.My only negative is that I was a little disappointed to see that they are just 3d printed parts. They're likely just printed polypropylene filament. I would have just printed them at home had I known that.That being said, still a good product and my cooler has working hinges again.

Its too bad a real hinge is not available that matches OEM for my igloo 48 cooler. The OEM hinge is pictured on the right.These hinges were advertised as very strong. Only time will tell. What I do like is the screws provided are longer, and has a deeper bite than OEM. They also fit perfectly.

I received this today and it fit my Igloo cooler perfectly. I used the new screws. Time will tell, but the hinge appears robust and durable. A bit overpriced, but it’s better than buying a new cooler.

Why but a new cooler? Just replace the hinges. These hinges appear to be much more sturdy than the originals. The only problem I had is not really related to the new hinges. I had a bit of trouble getting the original screws out.

Bought these to replace the original, older style hinges on a 30+ years old Igloo Marine 54, and they fit/work perfectly. I was a bit concerned about the re-design, but no worries. Great product to rehab an old Igloo.
