It was recently discovered that there is an actual Original Worcestershire Sauce was still being sold to Worcestershire, UK and we get some kind of Americanized version because we need to be cheap. For not much more than what was spent on the American Version- I got to have the real version. I find it personally superior in every way (As I do with Mexican Coke). It is slightly sweeter but finishes Spicier than the American one. They both do have about the same texture. The real version looks more genuine in it's labeling considering that it is addressed to Her Majesty (So , it better be good). If you like the American Version- You will like this one but feel like you have a little more Class. Review: Super Flavor! The Real Stuff - Yes, it's the real thing! This is the genuine UK-made Lea & Perrins, and it tastes so much better than what we buy at supermarkets in America. The sauce is made with malt vinegar instead of the white vinegar in the US edition. We did a side by side taste test using small shot glasses. The UK version is cloudier and a tiny bit thicker. It definitely has a slightly different taste. We decided we like the taste of the US version too.
