## Description

Rock Hard Plastics acrylic sheets feature a glossy finish that offers many benefits over glass. Acrylic / Plexiglass / Lucite is knowns for its sturdiness, durability, weather resistance, and beautiful gloss finish. It is much easier to work with than other translucent materials while also stronger and lighter. Great for thousands of different DIY projects, industrial applications, and commercial projects such as lighting, signage, aquariums, glass replacement, furniture, displays, frames, and more. These suggested applications may require knowledge of fabrication with acrylic and it is important to understand this item may or may not perform as expected based on how this raw material is manipulated, fastened, secured, placed under load or heated. Nominal 1/8" Thick (actual thickness will be approximately .090" to .125"). Rock Hard Plastics acrylic sheets have masking (paper or plastic) on both sides. Allow + or - 1/8" tolerance in width and length. Remove masking to reveal a shiny finish. All 4 edges are saw cut. Please be advised this is a raw material. As such it will arrive with saw cut edges and protective film on both sides but without any traditional retail packaging. *Logo and pennies depicted as props only to show features of the acrylic sheet. They are not included.

Review: Perfect for Product Photography - I've used the (12x12) for taking product photography and they work great. As you can see in the photos the black plexiglass did a great job helping keep the blacks, black and providing a nice reflection of the product. Item came in good condition with no scratches and was nice and sturdy to place items on. I would recommend. I feel the price was reasonable for this product.

**Q: Is this 1/8" thick or .118? 1/8" is .125.**
A: Thanks for the question! This item is actually .118" thick. It is standard for the acrylic and plastic industry to refer to it as 1/8".  Similar to how buying a 2"x4" at a home improvement store is not actually 2"x4".

**Q: Do they come in other colors, red, blue etc?**
A: Currently there are no other colors offered than what you find shown here. We are always looking for new opportunities with sizes and colors and will be sure to include your ideas in future products!

**Q: Can it be used as a dry-erase board?**
A: Yes,  they can be used as a dry erase surface. Be sure not to use anything with alcohol or ammonia to clean the surface. Use warm water only!

I've used the (12x12) for taking product photography and they work great. As you can see in the photos the black plexiglass did a great job helping keep the blacks, black and providing a nice reflection of the product. Item came in good condition with no scratches and was nice and sturdy to place items on. I would recommend. I feel the price was reasonable for this product.

Not sure about those other reviews, mine came absolutely perfect right out of the box. Very thick protective film with thick paper backing. I ordered black, which is very unforgiving, and it was like a damn mirror!!! If yours comes scratched, reach out to seller before leaving a bad review. It is obvious that it could only happen by warehouse handling and shipping. Something out of seller control. Give all parties involved a chance to make it right. As a consumer that reads reviews myself, those crappy reviews just make me laugh at you as a person and wonder what it must be like to live in you land of perfection. SMH🤦🤦🤦
