Stylish boot for a wide calf! Success!
I searched a ton of boots before deciding on these babies. I read a lot of reviews and was getting cold feet about buying online altogether. However, the type of boot I want (this particular type) was so much more expensive in the brick and mortar shoe stores. I'm all about saving money when there is money to be saved. The other reason I was concerned is because the top of my calf is wide. Often times a product will claim to be wide calf and not be or it's wide all the through the fit of the shoe. I only need wide for the top of the shaft of boots that I wear. Really anything beyond 11inches tall. However, I decided to go with these. First, I used my Amazon Prime membership and received it within 36hrs. So far so good. I purchased black because it can go with anything. Color passes. It's a good solid looking boot. Now, for the defining moment.....will it fit my calf and foot? And it does! The shaft is made of neoprene so if stretching is needed, you get some extra room for fit. My calf at its widest is 18", FYI. Fits over my jeans, but they were skinny jeans. The boot fit perfect and was not too wide anywhere else. I primarily purchased these for the times that I'm at the dirt track and it rains or has rained and I have to trek through mud. My feet did remain dry and toasty. It only gets in low 30s here in my part of Alabama, but for the tempature here.....perfect for my little toes. I typically wear an 8 and purchased an 8. Let me know if you have any questions, glad to help.

BEST WINTER WORK BOOTS
I've been wearing these every day for over a month now since I started working on a farm for the winter. They have not once gotten my feet wet or cold, and I've kicked my foot into frozen water troughs, walked all day through snow, even been stepped on by a few horses (these definitely are not expected to withstand this; maybe I've just been lucky) and my toes are still whole, etc. DEFINITELY worth every penny. My complaints are that: 1. The removable soles would slide out or be pushed in, so I removed them (no difference noted), 2. There's no ventilation and my feet sweat, so my socks get pretty damp and pungent by the end of the day, and 3. Small tears have started to form on the inner and outer side of either foot where the boots crease when you walk. However, they still seem to be waterproof, so also not a problem. The lining (which is what extends past the rubber towards the top) is definitely also waterproof.Do NOT spend a fortune on rubber boots! These are worth a try; I'll definitely be buying another pair even if mine don't make it through the entire winter.

Good wide calf rain boots!
Tl; dr I really like these boots!Pros: actually wide calf! My calves are (I believe) about 17" and these fit.The colors are super vibrantThey are warm! I've only tested in 40° weather, but they are toastyComfortable!I wear a 7.5-8.5 and the 8s fitCons: very little arch support. I have high arches and they press down on them a bit. They ARE wide calf, but they wouldn't fit calves much larger than mine. Maybe an inch bigger. As is, I've only tried them with leggings, not jeans, and they fit but were pretty snug. They are wideat the ankles when they needed a bit more width at the top.Overall they are still a great wide-calf dupe for the Bog boots!

Comfy Boots.
I love these boot. I have kind of wide feet, and these boots fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable. I bought a size ten based on the feed back I read, and normally wear a size nine. I suggest you do the same if you want a perfect fit.

Broke after only 3 months-but very warm and easy to get off.
UPDATE: 3 months later-so it’s November 2, 2018, and I bought them July 1st 2018. They seemed very tough and strong but they both split in the same place on the same day, so they didn’t even last 4 months?!? I’ll try posting a picture.Note: I wear these boots for 1 hour a day while I take my dogs out, all they come in contact with is dirt and a little water. Very disappointed in these boots, they should have been $10-15.These boots are very comfortable, but also very warm. I live in San Diego and use them for working outside and running the dogs and my feet get very warm. I will def wear them when I go to the snow because they can easily be used for that as well.I usually just get the $40 plain rubber black boots and they always break and split after 6 months and I have been injured trying to get them off, but these are very easy to get on and off.

Not good, waste of money
The boots are not as comfortable as my previous brand, Muckboot, they offer minimal arch or basic support, which I need with a history of torn meniscus. With sole inserts and thicker socks I figured I can make it work. However, here it is July, and I've barely worn them, only abt 1 hour on Dewey mornings or 3 hours on rainy days, yet already in only 7 mos they have already cracked on top and come apart at the seam on top where pink band is, so now my feet get wet walking in morning dew grass. Since keeping my feet dry was the reason I bought them, I am extremely disappointed. I bought 2 pairs of this crappy brand too. Never again!

Great For Rainy Weather
I am a 6.5 and I sized up per comments to the 7, they are actually big in the foot and I may have been able to go with the 6 however, I do have very wide calves and frequently boots this high will not fit at all but these do fit. They are a tight squeeze but I can wear them with leggings under the boot, I think had I gone down to the 6 then they would not have worked. ( I tired on my co-workers 8 before buying to ensure they fit over the calf and I had plenty of room in the calf area so I guess the whole boot gets smaller as you size down). I plan to keep them and only wear them for rain, I have better fur-lined boots for winter that are much warmer and I can wear heavier pants and thicker socks with.
