Initially I ordered a cheaper knockoff from to replace my food processor blade. The cheaper one caused a lot of vibration and noise due to being out of balance. For anyone looking to replace their blade I’d suggest buying this one directly from Cuisinart. This one was perfectly balanced and had slightly tighter tolerances between the bottom of the bowl and the lower blade. This one costs more but maintains the closest quality to the original, riveted blade.

Perfect replacement for my Cuisinart DLC

I ordered this as a replacement for my Cuisinart DLC-7. It was not until a couple months later that I realized there was a problem. The shaft of the Cuisinart does not fit tightly to this cutting blade and it locks onto the shaft. I called Cuisinart and they said that they no longer support the DLC-7s with parts. Amazon, you should take this off your description that says it will fit a DLC_7 because it doesn't. It will cause a problem and ruin the machine. Unfortunately I did not discover the problem until my window to return the product had expired.

Bought a 'used' blade for a small discount... probably a return from someone who had a different model of processor this blade wouldn't fit. Mine looks brand new, and testing it in my machine, it worked fine.

This is a direct OEM replacement blade for the Cuisinart DFP-14BCN 14-Cup Food Processor. It fits and works perfectly. However, I bought this replacement blade to replace the original because it had developed stress cracks in the plastic body which represented a safety hazard. The original did last a long time. Hopefully this replacement will last just as long or longer.

Excellent replacement part

My machine was spinning the blade and it was skipping. I soon realized there was a fine crack in the shaft of the blade (I had to look with a magnifying glass it was barely visible). I purchased the new blade and it works perfectly, saved me the purchase of a new machine since my model’s replacement parts are discontinued by Cusinart. A+++

This blade is exactly like the original one was. The old one served us very well for well over 30 years, but eventually the plastic shaft cracked and would no longer work. What amazed us was how, over the years of use, we hadn't noticed the blades becoming increasingly dull. The new blade is very sharp compared with the old one. We hope this one will last as long! :)
